The thing me about Shane's recent success in USA is that to me, it seems incredible that someone we are familiar with is now often on the world motorsport stage. What occurs to me is that at the end of the day, I am just a fan. We feel we know them by the brief encounters over the years but lately I have been thinking how utterly amazing it must be for those that were karting a few years ago with him, parents and competitors. It must be mind blowing.
@@WKSchwenke it’s more than likely just an Aussie jumping aboard his achievements😂 but agreed, a kiwi would be nice. I also think that Canadian guy Kyle Larson is pretty good 😉lol
The fact that the first thing he says is apologizing to Mayer for getting into him on lap 1 shows he's a good guy. Most drivers, if they do apologize for something, it's got to do with the finish, not lap 1. Shane is a class act ❤
its how we roll in NZ cant be a class act without fessing up when ya screw up. what i like is how the media do Q an A down here all they do is stir up the drivers to make a mountain outa a mole hill its refreshing to see this from the media guys NZ and Aus could learn alot from America in this regard but they wont until u use blunt force trama on their asses, great to see this much enthusiasm for post race stuff
