No one should ever tell someone grieving that it’s time to move forward. From my experience of losing my first husband to mental illness that statement made me angry. Your world has simply stopped, and everyone around you just goes on living their lives. So my advice is simply say I’m sorry for your loss. Also I’m here for you means a whole lot. However make sure you mean it. My favorite that made me feel loved was, I’m coming over to help you out with anything and everything.

They needed half a million dollars for school security when the shooter got in because a door didn't lock. Rather than look at how many millions it would take to fix a problem, address the door locks, the "plan" that wasn't followed, the response from the cops that wasn't a response. It blows my mind that anyone would look at this event and think it happened because they didn't have enough money.

It is so sad, that we now have to use Winnie The Pooh to explain to children what to do in the case of some crazy person with a weapon meant for the military goes into their school and starts shooting.
Because according to an interpretation of something that was put into place by the founding fathers at a time off flint lock weapons, if they would have wanted it to mean a weapon to kill as many people at once, they would have written the right to own a Canon.
What was written at the time was meant for the weapons of the time.
The Second Amendment, ratified in 1791, was proposed by James Madison to allow the creation of civilian forces that can counteract a tyrannical federal government.
Wich is why it says a well regulated Militia.
    The 2nd amendment reads
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
However the weapon of choice for mass shooters is a weapon that was developed for the military during the Vietnam War to kill as many people in as short amount of time possible.
A weapon that was and never should have been available to the public.
This weapon is made to stalk one type of prey and that is humans.
    It has no other use
It is a sad fact that the highest cause of death for children in America is guns.
It doesn't have to be, this cause is something that can be regulated, and should be regulated.
Instead states are starting to go in the opposite direction.
Less regulations for guns and gun owners.
Less regulations for people who want to buy this weapon.
All in the name of the 2nd amendment.
Meanwhile people are afraid to send their children to school.
And get handed a book to read to their precious children about what to do in case of a shooting.
Because guns are so unregulated and easy to buy.
And all in the name of freedom!
Freedom for whom, certainly not the nation's children.
Not for all the people and children who were gunned down, shopping, going to worship, watching a parade, being in a park, going to a concert, attending university, doing their weekly grocery run.
The lax gun laws in this country took their freedom, their life, and pursuit of happiness away.
Because it was made so easy by the people in government be it State or Federal for a person with an agenda and personal gripe or a death wish to commit suicide by cops to get a weapon and start shooting as many people as possible at any given time in America.
Where Freedom comes at a very high price.

But the children of the most powerful legislators go to private schools or upper-class public schools. Robb Elem was a "Mexican" school. Say it.

I think that the police where not in the wrong they knew how much damage that AR 15s can do in a short amount of time so they need to not only make sure they where safe they had to figure out what way would be the best way to get the kids and teachers but i agree it sucks it took responders an hour but at the same time they didn't have the right equipment to save themselves or the kids they had to get swat or a stronger group of people this is a terrible tragedy and may those 21 people rest peacefully ❤ 🕊️🕊️🕊️

You keep giving badges to criminals, cowards, or incompetents people that are mentally, morally, and/or physically UNFIT to wear a uniform. 99% of these cowards are still in uniform haven’t heard of one of these cowards offing themselves. Over 100 cowards that day all still alive and on the job. If they aren’t going to end themselves then can they All at least be banned from Public Service for life?
