Mate 40 pro is solid with its Sony sensors. Mi 11 and S21 is very similar
my amateur taste for the video part
- front video camera : mate 40 pro -> S21 -> Mi 11
-Ultra wide video : S21 -> mate 40 pro -> Mi 11
-Main camera video best EIS is Mi 11 i think
-Main 4k60 : S21 ultra -> Mate 40 pro -> Mi 11
-Front camera video night mode : Mate 40 pro -> S21 -> mi 11
-Main camera video at night : Mi 11 -> mate 40 pro -> S21
I agree with that all! But not the front day video that was the S21U there I think.
Mi 11 actually had true colors. Samsung stuff is always oversaturated and higher contrast and sharpening. But if one does t put them side by side no one will notice much differences anyway. This iteration samsung has done a really good job but for the price difference, the MI seems like a winner in my eyes. Maybe they'll use the newer samsung sensor in the 11 ultra.
Xiaomi has so much crap inside.... there is a reason it's cheaper... u neglect the truth

Xiaomi mi series should work on better low light UW angle camera - we all need it much wider and better low light. - ultra wide angle finally - wider for when stabilised. Apart from that it would be a dream phone.

Mate 40 pro's video stablization from front camera only actived in normal mode.There is no stablization in ultra wide mode
True. Stabilization is good on the regular mode. No stabilization on the ultrawide mode to give a wider field of view

S21 was best overall in my opinion. However, for the price, the Mi 11 just kills it! I think if we picked certain things from each smartphone we could build the perfect camera

@@Mr.PM1993thing is, it did nothing the best, probably only the front facing video and just because it was wide, not for the colors or the eis. It is also more expensive than the Mi 11. That said, I did mention it would be cool to pick some features from each phone and build a better camera system.
@@gersonrendon2188 lol, see biased, and yeah maybe it is your taste, the back camera nailed it on almost every scene, however in Video mode and fullHD it is shaky but the rest was the smoothest, unless you were not looking anyhow, S21 is just way overpriced since it has the same camera sensor as Mi11, besides, Huawei has some color filters that you can choose from, I have seen nobody ever mentioned that these filters are exists on the phone settings such as Leica Standard, Leica Vivid (saturate coloring), Leica Smooth (very nice color and not saturated). well anyone always buy what they want.

Did you forgot to turn on the EIS on Mate 40 pro's ultra wide (cinema) lens? It shakes too much. Never had that issue with my Mate 40 pro.

Great effort 🌹 but the question of s21 ultra snapdragon or Axinos
did you made sure on AUTO some phones didin't used night mode to make it a fair test? also why do i have the feeling the mate lens was dirty as it has some grey tint on it at night. Also can you tell me how long aprox each phone needed to take a night photo without night mode and did you used a tripod?
All the night shots was the night mode. Mate 40 pro has no night mode it's automatically used. All lenses of each phone were cleaned before taking the shots.
@@Techtablets of course mate 40 has night mode but is so good on auto that doesn't need long exposures. If you take those pics hand held all phones in night mode will look worse because of long exposure. It would have been nice to take low light without night mode to see the results because I have a feeling Huawei would have won. I'm pretty sure you noticed Huawei taking the faster picture. How long did Samsung needed to take a low light picture, 5,10 seconds?I'm trying to decide my next phone and I feel that you played Huawei in low light for using a tripod and taking pics only in night mode. For your next videos try taking the pics hand held and repeat same pics in low light with and without night mode to make ourself a clearer image of which one is the best

one thing I noticed about both the Mi 11 and mate 40 at least up until 2.00 minutes was both seem to have issues with flickering white balance , I have noticed this to a lesser degree on my iPhone 12 too .

5. Because 3 months from now the camera on the S21U will be superior in every segment of the cameras possible

I think it just looks too cheap and ugly. Especially the camera part. Ironically, the camera is good in performance though.

Save some cash and get the Mi 10T Pro. Cameras as the same and for an IPS it has a really good screen.
The suffy camera of Mate 40 Pro has good stabilization but not the wide-angle option

I prefer the colour on Mi 11, particularly the blue sky, which is more natural and not as saturated as the other two.

I use both devices s21ultra 1000 time better .
P40pro plus poor video stabling. Less brighter camera no filters no functions. But huawei hardware is much stronger than samsung phone .

Yes, but the Mi 11 is still only the basic model while S21 Ultra and Mate 40 Pro are the top spec models. I would wait for the Mi 11 Pro or Ultra for more conclusive results.

If only this was the 888 version of the 21 ultra, your low light comparisons would be a lot different as the 888 s21 ultra is superior. The exynos variant makes these comparisons null and void for those who have the 888 variant. Samsung is suppose to put out/has put out an update but, another test between the exynos and 888 needs to be done for low light video to see if they truly fixed their low light performance on the exynos.

Yes same here the video quality from the S21U isn't as good as it should or could be. Samsung has a bit of work to do! (Btw it's the Exynos version)
@@Techtablets You should check the S21 ultra(SD) vs (Exynos) low light video comparison by Golden reviewer . It also stings a lot more when you know there is a better version out there that you can't get .

@@Techtablets The Mate 40 pro appears to be in ultrawide mode though. Is that correct? It has EIS in the normal mode but not in ultrawide mode. I think that is it's biggest advantage for the selfie cam, the ability to switch between wide and normal field of view
Mate 40 pro doesn't support image stabilization in ultrawide mode on front camera. Switch to tigheter crop...
