Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young were ahead of their time with their music, so amazing. My favorite band back in the 70's. The music world lost such an amazing musician, they don't make them like this anymore.
I just glide by that downward thumb, as it shouldn't be there anyway. I enjoy any and all music, as it is a reflection of your soul, and the sharing is just as sweet as the sound.

Thank you so much. I have seen the amazing Venice perform at Santa Monica High School with Jackson, and have seen Cros perform, but what a privilege to see them perform together. Must have been one hell of a night!

On VH1 Storytellers- they joked that Neil wrote so many songs it was hard to keep up with him. On the original, Crosby's passion was shining through just like this version.
Good thought. It does look a bit like him (younger though), but his voice is a lot different. Plus, at the beginning he's likening being able to sing with David to playing catch with Mickey Mantle, suggesting that he's in awe of such a legend. In reality, Browne was more of a contemporary of David's (being only 7yrs younger), gaining similar acclaim around the time David did. So when the guy in this video says he "grew up listening to this music," it can't really be Browne.
Wonderfully done! Thanks for sharing this. I wonder how long it took me to connect this song with the news story. I tend not to listen to lyrics very closely, but I may have noticed it right away or it could have taken me up to five or ten years to realize that CSN were singing about the Ohio State shootings. (I just found out about Venice as they were mentioned on a comment on a Foxes and Fossils video.)
I tried to read the setlist at the beginning on the piano shelf: (1) Rivers never Run (2) Take A Little While (?) (3) Chemistry (4) I Can´t make You Love Me (5) Family Tree (6) Think Again (7) Guinevere (8) Long Time Gone (9) Wooden Ships (10) For Free (11) Leeshore (?) (12) Carry On (13) Cost Of Freedom/Ohio (this clip) (14) Suite Judy Blue Eyes
Why? Its a song that CSNY have made millions of dollars on. Its like a catchy commercial jingle these days. They should have given some of that money to the kent state victims instead of buying more coke. This song has nothing to so w our country's violence today that ia killing many of our children. This is a bunch of rich people high fiving eachother. Its sickening and so is your idea of making it an anthem
