Lol did you notice the guy at 2:21 correct the other ranger’s phone holding method too? He gestures to him and he goes from vertical filming to horizontal filming. Nice touch

I like the fact in the OG MW, Shepherd gives more of a pick me up at the beginning.

This game was not without its flaws, but you can tell there's still a lot of love put into the OG. I remember this game fondly when it came out, I was still in high school at the time. I remember fighting this guy on the Highrise map over and over again during multiplayer. I go into a call afterwards with him and it's the actor who played fucking McLovin from Superbad. He legit gamed with people when MW2 launched, he was such a cool guy.
1:58 I just realized that when Cpl. Dunn says “since when does Shepherd care about danger close”, he could be referring to/sending a jab at Shepherd for the nuke incident in CoD4
I think its more of a line for you to remember for towards the middle and end of the game…

In the middle during the Gulag Raid the Navy Fires right on top of Soap, Ghost and Roach, and Soap gets angry with Shepard only replying that that navy isnt in a chatting mood..
Then towards the end He fires on a Shadow Company Platoon trying to take out Price and Soap… Captain Price then says “Since when does Shepard care about danger close”
@@spiderboymatt Oh yeah, I’m aware of those parts. I’m just saying that Shepherd’s reputation within the military was so heavily tainted to the point that soldiers such as Dunn probably make jokes/criticize him. Thus the ridicule, shame, and guilt he feels feeds into his eventual betrayal.

The heat waves coming off the weapon barrel look amazing for a 2009 game. MW2 really nailed the atmospherics and art direction, even if it was a far cry from the most technically-impressive game of its time.
what i like the og over the remastered is, it looked like the explosion made you exhausted and woke up into the battle
In the mission you showed, after going up the stairs at the start to the bridge where you get on to the gunner vehicles, there is a dude eating chocolate there as well. I believe they removed him in the remastered version
In the first mission a Ranger asks “isn’t this danger close for the task force” and another responds with “since when does Shepard care about Danger Close?” at the end of the game I believe Price says “since when does Shepard care about danger close?” When he’s about to enter his helicopter, cool little touch
They still didn't give the high ranking general a helmet and vest in the combat zone. That's a snipers wet dream to take out a US general

I like that the music is more present in OG. Also the disorienting sound at 3:07 if fuckin awesome.

I wish they changed the rangers unit patch. Instead of it being the 75th ranger regiment scroll patch its the USAJFKSWCS patch which is the US Army SOF training unit

The OG version reminds me a lot of Generation Kill. So many soldered acting casual in combat. Very real to life in a way
Call of Duty just will never be the same, the fun and memories on these old generation Call of Duty games were irreplaceable.
Knowing how heavy a 240bravo is shows how strong those guys are

You missed the detail where one of the Ranger failing to record the buildings explosion, he gets frustrated.

How come a soldier is eating chocolate during a fight? What is more important finding enemies for eating chocolate? He eats chocolate chilling he will be dead what do you guys think
Yeah… you’ve obviously never seen the ANA in action LMAO. The guy’s probably an interpreter or some other attache from the national army.
I think it's a reference to generation kill, this whole part of the mission is actually. There's a scene similar to this where marines are in combat with iraqi combatants and on of the officers is eating while communicating with his CO.
Its a jab at defactors and iraqi soldiers who cant speak english and dont understand what theyre supposed to do when joining sides with the US military

All these years later and never thought of throwing a flash at Shepherd
IMO, I think they shouldn’t have switch the phones to smartphones.
It’s understandable they switched to be relatable,
But keeping the old flip phones, blackberry’s and other mobile phones during those times would make for an interesting time capsule.
Another thing is the damage screen. I kinda liked the more trance like of basically water with red food coloring on screen than the remake.
