The SOS pads for stainless steel (the ones with soap in them) work well for cleaning off oxidation and crud, especially if you plan to buff it out after.
@@HarmonGarage Ya, the SOS pads aren't the cheapest, but they go a fairly long way. I think I used about 3/4 of a box of them to do a longbed 72 c10. That 85 would look killer as a longbed 4x4 btw....
Great video! It's going to be a really great looking truck when done. I just don't understand why, what was once a beautiful vehicle, someone just let deteriorate and left it to rot in a swamp. Glad to see it is being saved and put back on the road...
When you're done using the soap and wet Saturday. It's gonna be a beautiful truck. It doesn't look like a whole lot. Is wrong with it? The body straight cut good paint, it'll be a beautiful track.

Truck looks awesome the only thing dont look right is the headlights they make old school style headlamps with leds it would look better it looks off now. No disrespect at all just saying

I use Woollite Foam Carpet Cleaner and a grill brush to clean the carpets. Vacuum, spray scrub, and vacuum again.
