I never seem to get tired of watching your tutorials , it’s relaxing & easy to understand. Got few of your brushes and watercolour paper, got to get myself to practice though !
Your final painting always looks like it’s hard to do and yet when I watch your tutorial, I’m always fascinated by how few steps you do to get your beautiful end result. Sometimes I try to guess, how did Calvin do this? I always learn something new. Thanks for sharing!
Hi, I'm new here. I have written a book and have decided to illustrate it myself. I just can't seem to let go so here I am learning a new skill. My family and I have enjoyed binge watching your tutorials. Thank you, and I will check out your Etsy store as well. I was going to buy an iPad for the ProCreate app but would you recommend something other than that?
Hi Calvin, I bought this Etsy kit yesterday but the abstract round brush is too watery and I cant make the wooly body texture they way you are showing in this video. AND The color blender brush fades the paper texture. getting kind of frustrated. can you help me with that please?
I'd love to help :) Can you message me on Etsy and attach a screenshot of what the brush strokes look like? I might be able to spot a clue from that. My first guess is that you are painted on the same layer as the texture, and this is possibly combined with a custom pressure curve. It's really imported to paint under the paper texture on a regular blank layer, and make sure that the pressure curve settings in procreate are normal. If you message me on Etsy I'd love to help you right away.
Thank you Calvin ❤️

I love simple 🥰 Thank you so much
What is feathering exactly? Does a drawing always need feather or is it just a preference for some people when drawing?
