I'm so honored that I can help you with your art 😱 your comment here is exactly what I needed to hear today ❤️ Art and illustration have a lot of value, however I'm focused more on the teaching side of things, so sharing my concepts and ideas will not negatively effect me. Some artist are more 'territorial' then others and it's definitely a personal boundary that varies between artists. For example, some artists have a very secret technique they rely on. If I saw something very similar to my paintings on a pillow or a notebook in the store, I would be flattered out of my mind! Thanks again for you kind comment, I really enjoyed it ❤️

Ahhh…so cute! I just finished drawing this cutie. I didn’t use your sketch but, I should have and I only had the Procreate brushes. Your fella is so stinking cute. Tomorrow, I’m going to try again using your sketch. Thank you so much Calvin. ❤
awww I'm so glad you liked it! Sometimes when I want to understand a style, I will trace over the sketch/ line art exactly. Something about that helps my hand understand the shapes, and then I can start to apply the same style/character in other positions and scenes.
@@calvinatdrifterstudio8438 I now have two adorable pugs. The one using your sketch is the cutest. It took forever to find the best Procreate brushes to use. I should have put them in a favorites folder because I want my granddaughter to do your adorable pug. She’s 12, and has recently taken an interest in drawing and art. She is going to love drawing your pug. Thank you so much for sharing your talents and knowledge for all ages to enjoy art.❤️
