Hi I am looking forward to buying one of these 2 phones and i currently have the s8+ so do u advice me to go for the iphone 11 or the samsung s20 ? Thank you !
@@lia-mo9vq I would advice to go in a shop and compare them. I could not see 11 in the shop (everything was closed) so I was disappointed when I got it. The LCD display is inferior to S20 Super AMOLED, and the notch huge plus face id on iphone was annoying because of the mask. Also, S20 is easier to be hold in the hand, has a bigger display, but is more compact. Plus, 128GB was not enough, S20 has a SD card, I hold there 256GB of fotos n videos. S20 has 120hz, is trully amazing, not even iphone 12 pro will have it. If iPhone, I would wait for iPhone 12. At least that one has an OLED. Hope that helps. 😊
No Way I'm a iphone 11 pro user, but the S20 's are more fastest and powerful than the iPhone at this time. No only the numbers of Benchmarks are the most important. IPhone doesn't have REALLY multitasking. That's all.
I got the s20+ cloud blue and I absolutely love it! Imo the design is just so much more sophisticated. Also, headphones and an adapter come in the box so tbh all it doesn't have is a separate jack, case and film is included in the box as well, along with other things. Amazing camera (AR zone is so entertaining), chic visuals, long battery life, user-friendly, smooth... It's such a reliable phone and I wouldn't ever swap it out
I find this video perfect to my liking. Its super detailed with thorough explanation and example display with dope but subtle video editing skills as well 👌
It's great that apple updates their phones for a long time but personally, I feel their phones tend to slow down and give worse battery backup after 2-3 major OS upgrades. I noticed this on my iPhone 6 as well as iPhone X. The ios 14 update completely nuked the battery on my iPhone X ☹️
Its called recalibrate your battery , is normal for it , since older ios doesn’t really have an accurate calibration, so ios 14 will recalibrate the battery health…battery health do degrade years past …thank me later
@@jonathanpaghubasan1863 i have the exynos version, just an hour of less battery and heats up a bit more, other than that its fine. not an issue for me
I have to disagree if you just care about the iPhone you don’t need a screen protector. I have 0 scratches on my iPhone 11. I would say the Samsung is worse. The curved display is more prone to scratches in your pocket.
@@AbbyMichal you go to settings --> screen --> navigation bar --> and youll find it there under the two options. Idk how its called cuz my phone is in French
I feel like the photos are equally good but the iPhone has slightly better video. But I don't think you'd realize it in real world use unless you happen to have both of them which is extremely unlikely. That being said the Samsung has a significantly better microphone if that's important to you.
My choice would be the S20 why? The 120hz display, 12gigs of ram. For myself it's a better well balanced phone, the only thing missing is the jack. It has everything else, very good review!
This amount of ram is useless on ios though so that's not really an argument. Both are very good and versatile phones. It comes down to preference wether you want to use ios or android. The advantage that apple will always have vs android is the 4 to 5 years updates on their phones and an iphone still being worth something to resell a few years later. An android phone, no matter how expensive becomes completely obsolete in terms of updates and resale value after only 2 to 3 years.
That was before the updates. Now exynos averages at 6,5 hours with moderate to heavy usage, while sd gets 7,5 hours. Exynos is still miles ahead of iphone 11 which averages at 5 hours of screen on time.
The iphone is just getting a little old feeling now...Much has changed and the S20 seems to be addressing many issues. Samsung seems to like to step the game up and this S20 hits many of the newest features. I would say the S20 knocked it out of the park with this phone.
The iPhone 11 costs $699 and the Samsung S20 costs $999, so The cost should be included as a deciding factor or the comparison should be to the iPhone pro which also costs $999.
In my country (indonesia) and some other country that doesn't have official apple store, the Iphone 11 cost almost $1000 for the 64 gb version. And the s20 still few dollars cheaper.
@@soundofsilencesss lol the iPhone 11 Pro with the most storage costs like $2100 in Serbia. It's ridiculous. If anyone can buss me these $700 iPhones hit me up
iPhones are cheaper only in the US. In the UK, the flagship Androids cost almost as much as the iPhones, if not a little more. For me the choice is so hard. On one hand, I'm getting kind of bored with android, and want to try iOS. On the other, I know that for the same price I will be getting a phone with much better specs if I buy another Android.
@@DMCdantenero112 lemme tell you this, as an Android - soon to be iOS user. Specs don't mean anything. iPhones have superior processors and RAM speeds. You always know an iPhone will last you at least 4 years but Androids, as you know, tend to age pretty quickly. I've started recommending iPhones to everyone who can afford them lately, for that exact reason. On paper Android flagships are better, but in practice they don't come close to iPhones. Hopefully in a few weeks I'm getting a (used) iPhone XS with 512GB storage so that should keep me busy for some years. And it's only €500 lol. I think it's a ridiculously good buy
i think touch ID is better than face ID as i had a samsung A10 which had face id that worked perfectly until you drop your phone the wrong way and crack the phone which sometimes leaves glares in the camera making face id unreliable

@@viperomen914 samsung does have a bit of a problem with not keeping their phones up to date, but idk, just the fact that it's so customizable is a huge factor in what brand you choose. Also the s20+ is the first flagship phone I've ever had, and yes it is amazing, but honestly if I got a midrange phone from Samsung (say the a71 or even a51 or a31) they perform almost just as good with half the price. great video! i am having trouble picking between the two. i got the s20 for the price of an iphone and it's a great phone.. but im used to that apple ecosystem and all my iphones last at least 3-4yrs. but apple should give you basic things samsung does, like a screen protector and fast charging.

I can't believe people still don't understand the reason why people buy iPhones. It's not because it has the most and latest features or best hardware. It's about the software, security, sustainability, consistency, the experience, privacy, software support, camera, and the ecosystem. Not to mention that the word Apple screams Quality.
2 words: social status. The common person doesn't really worry about all those updates and stuff. They want that apple on the back and if you think different you're fooling yourself.
@@alexanderrahl482 Really? I'm pretty sure the things I've mentioned are pretty basic and essentials when it comes to smartphones. A "Common" person wouldn't have difficulties understanding those. Do you think "Common" people will buy expensive products with poor quality? You gotta think better of us common people. ;)
@@shieldhero1309 Man the kids want the iPhone because they see celebrities using them. Alot of adults too. That whole long update status thing loses its weight because alot of people get the iPhone on installment and upgrade the next year anyway. This was a top rate comparison video! Thank you so much!!! Unfortunately, I am still afraid to switch from an iPhone to Android. I haven't spent an extended period of time using one, my experience has been that Android software seemed visually a bit more convoluted than the iPhone. From your review, they appear very similar, however. Should I be bothered by needing to switch all of my chargers, and no longer using my Apple ID, imessage...
I think it’s good to try something new. If you really miss iMessage you can always get an iPad or even an iPod. I know not everyone has money to get those devices but if you do they should last you longer than your phone even would :)

Apple name, features aside, people also buy the iPhones because they think they have better cameras because apps don't maximize the android photo quality (I know iPhone cameras are great rn) like you can have an S10 but upload an IG story that looks like an iPhone 6 or older phone quality, that's why people think iPhones have the best cameras because developers only optimize it for Apple which is a shame.
The iphone 11 really has a better camera than my S10+. I have had both. Thinking of selling my S10+ and buying another iPhone 11. I had returned my first one and really miss the camera. I had a Pixel 3a XL before that, but that phone had a lot of bugs... The photos were good, but not as amazing as some say. Iphone11 was better in my opinion.
Knowing I spent less and got less? Feels fine. Seems perfectly reasonable to me and nothing out of the ordinary. Whats the point you're trying to make exactly?
There are pros and cons to both these phones but to me iPhones have the most cons and issues to deal with especially if you don’t have iTunes or any of the Apple apps. It has too many updates to. I literally have to update my iPhone 2-3 times a month. But yeah planning to switch back to the android family soon and get me the S20+
I still don’t understand why most tech reviewers complain about the absence of the headphone jack. Removing the jack gives you more battery space, which is far more important!
Oh my goodness! you can’t uninstall some preinstalled apps from s20, that’s annoying for a person like me. But it does have expandable memory which is a relief. But still the fact that I can’t uninstall some apps that I don’t like is just disturbing for me.
ummm, you can long long press and select 'uninstall' or 'disable' but dont uninstall every samsung app, if you paid for a samsung flagship then you should utilise its features to the fullest
Great review! I’ve got a question though: do you think the Samsung s20 will start to slow down and lag after the two years of support? I want to be able to use it for at least 3-4 with smooth performance :)
Always depends on how you are using your phone. If you are a person who trashes their phone with unnecessary apps and documents, your phone is going to degrade faster (1-2.5 years max). Also it depends on your work load and how you charge your phone. A phone with a trashed battery is useless. I had my S8 for about 3 years and now im thining about upgrading to a newer phone.
What?! Lmao there’s no way, it so easy to tell how much quicker and smoother it is to scroll. I also have the s20 and even just moving through ur apps it shows
Excellent objective feedback! Hopefully, by now you should have received at least one camera upgrade for the Galaxy S20. With the S20 Ultra it appears that an upgrade is being provided the first week of each month. But it is probably random whether the upgrade is for software or for the security update. I think that upgrades can be downloaded and installed if the following is followed; Home page 》Settings 》upgrade
Hey iPhone batteries aren’t great...after few months the battery health reduces and battery only lasts for hours..but Samsung’s battery is good and reliable
For me, I am looking forward to getting my S20+ at some point. Always loved Samsung because of their innovation in their line of smartphones. Apple for me just seems to be stuck in neutral. I'm not getting the Ultra though. One because it's too big to begin with, and two because of the bad things I've heard with the camera. Granted it might have been fixed by now via software updates, but even so I would still NOT get the Ultra. Even with the 100x Space Zoom.
...And Apple copied Huawei in gesture navigation tech. Edit : After watching your full video, I can say, you clearly favour Iphone. You shouldn't be an Android guy, cheers.
I will always prefer Samsung over apple when coming to pictures with scenaries but apple constantly has better pictures when people are involved in the photos. Google and apple are the only companies that seem to have skin tones down within their camera software
Hey, Darius, at 6:52, on the Samsung, how do you get the iPhone-like horizontal navigation bar at the bottom of the screen? I really, really want that. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus, and I'm on OneUI 2.1, but I don't see that option in settings... 🤔😢
When it’s a review like this normally the Samsung phone is the cheeper option but remember the S20 is by far cheep it’s priced similarly to the 11 Pro. Yes the S20 has more features. But I still enjoy the use of iOS not to mention I’m paying under 800$ for a flagship.
Really clear and concise video, cool transition. keep it up!! but I've a question, how long would Samsung S20+ last in terms of longevity in software updates?
Samsung didn't copy the gesture navigation; Google did. The one you're using on the S20 is Google's. If you go into the gesture navigation settings in One UI, you can choose between three buttons, Google's gesture navigation, or Samsung's. Samsung's is similar to the three button approach, except that you simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen where the buttons would normally be.

No Way I'm a iphone 11 pro user, but the S20 's are more fastest and powerful than the iPhone at this time. No only the numbers of Benchmarks are the most important. IPhone doesn't have REALLY multitasking. That's all.
I wanna get the s20 or the note so bad bc I don’t really like my iPhone 11
The Galaxy look fantastic. It’s a great phone. I am an iPhone 11 user and I love it tho
This was the review im looking for, not just a comparison of specs, but also built quality, clickyness of the buttons ect. Thank you bro
Yes fingerprint is not as fast as face id but it is more reliable than face id. And also samsung has both of the : face id and fingerprint
Dude, you're doing a pretty good job! Great comparison!
I love finding tech TH-camrs with accents, love it
I think I will just buy the s20 plus, since I want an expandable storage

Great knocking on both phones at the beginning of the review! Prolly the first reviewer to do that...
The iphone 11 glass sucks , it gets alot of scratches
Yooo wtf my tios name is Gabriel Cruz
I have to disagree if you just care about the iPhone you don’t need a screen protector. I have 0 scratches on my iPhone 11. I would say the Samsung is worse. The curved display is more prone to scratches in your pocket.

Excellent review. You right on the camera, I do think iPhones take more realistic photos and still better video recorders
Mzwandile Harmans yes soo true iPhone is better on it
I feel like the photos are equally good but the iPhone has slightly better video. But I don't think you'd realize it in real world use unless you happen to have both of them which is extremely unlikely. That being said the Samsung has a significantly better microphone if that's important to you.
Very good review....
Bro can I know what camera you used for this video please?
If you want more natural images look in s20, change the display setting to natural instead of vivid.
Really does it work are the pictures look more natural? I am still thinking which to buy I'm 50 to 50 in both phones😅
My choice would be the S20 why? The 120hz display, 12gigs of ram. For myself it's a better well balanced phone, the only thing missing is the jack. It has everything else, very good review!
Don't forget internal memory capacity ;)
This amount of ram is useless on ios though so that's not really an argument. Both are very good and versatile phones. It comes down to preference wether you want to use ios or android. The advantage that apple will always have vs android is the 4 to 5 years updates on their phones and an iphone still being worth something to resell a few years later. An android phone, no matter how expensive becomes completely obsolete in terms of updates and resale value after only 2 to 3 years.
I think all flagships of 2020 will have 120hz iPhones 2020 phone has yet to be released
Iphones : what is ram?
We only get 8gig of ram in europe. No snapdragon for us. Found out after i ordered it
4 to 5 hours on the Exynos.. tragic. I average 8 and a half hours with SD865 with 120HZ
Same
Thats crazy! But good for you, wish I had the SD model
I have the exynos model and its actually about the same
That was before the updates. Now exynos averages at 6,5 hours with moderate to heavy usage, while sd gets 7,5 hours. Exynos is still miles ahead of iphone 11 which averages at 5 hours of screen on time.
@@simonaskuodis2834 the S20 has a better onscreen time then the iphone11 ??? are you drunk ?
If anyone can buss me these $700 iPhones hit me up
Can get either on contract
iPhones are cheaper only in the US.

Not trying to be rude, so please don't take it that way, but iphones are a 'luxury' brand and cost a crap ton of money too so I mean 🤷♀️ but to each their own
iPhone 11: $699
Galaxy S20 $999
Yup a crap ton
And I understand you weren’t trying to be rude but the iPhone 11 is going to outlast the S 20 by a long shot also the iPhone 11 won’t get slow just after two years just something to keep in line
To me personally. A midrange samsung is as good as the flagship iPhone. The s20s are cool, but the midrange are more worth the money. And iphone is a set template that you really can't stray from. Idk its whatever haha
Are you kidding me the s20 is basically a mini laptop the specs are huge I ve got a mac mini but when it comes to the iPhone or ipad there so restricted you can't even download stuff off Internet which you could do on any android phone from 2012 😆

The last phone I had was also an iphone 4 which I had to stop using because it simply was overused. I've made the jump to an s8 when it came out and I was a bit overwhelmed with how many options and settings there were but I've gotten used to it and I love how the phone still feels fast and clean.
great video! i am having trouble picking between the two. i got the s20 for the price of an iphone and it's a great phone.. but im used to that apple ecosystem and all my iphones last at least 3-4yrs. but apple should give you basic things samsung does, like a screen protector and fast charging.
Margaret Frost Samsung is also more customisable. I’ve had both Samsung and apple, both phones are great but Samsung’s are usually more durable and are overall a slightly better phone. Hope this helps 😊

@@sha_moo can I use s20+ for long term? Around 4 to 5 years... Or I shud go for 11?
Why do you think people want the Apple on the back of their phones? Because Apple is a smartphone company that has proven itself to produce quality products.

Brilliant review buddy
Is the snapchat and instagram stories quality really bad on the s20? I want to switch from an iPhone but I still want quality.
How’s watching this from iPhone 11
Knowing I spent less and got less? Feels fine. Seems perfectly reasonable to me and nothing out of the ordinary. Whats the point you're trying to make exactly?
it feels great knowing that my phone will be supported for much longer and apps like youtube, instagram and snapchat are overall better on IOS
Removing the jack gives you more battery space, which is far more important!
how so?
Some Xiaomi phones has 4000 mamp battery and headphone Jack in the same time
Thank you! It was interesting =)
Oh my goodness! you can’t uninstall some preinstalled apps from s20, that’s annoying for a person like me. But it does have expandable memory which is a relief. But still the fact that I can’t uninstall some apps that I don’t like is just disturbing for me.
ummm, you can long long press and select 'uninstall' or 'disable'
but dont uninstall every samsung app, if you paid for a samsung flagship then you should utilise its features to the fullest
Great review! I’ve got a question though: do you think the Samsung s20 will start to slow down and lag after the two years of support? I want to be able to use it for at least 3-4 with smooth performance :)
Owen my wife is still using a galaxy s7. She bought it in 2016. It’s not fast like the first day but still smooth enough
I have the S20 for about 2 weeks now. I love the phone, but I honestly can't tell the difference between 60hz and 120hz 🤷🏾♂️
