Working in the medical field is exactly like that. Long hours, don't always get to eat, get breaks, or get to use the bathroom. They often put up with abuse from patients and sometimes doctors or other staff. Still it's rewarding....
I saw one of the other videos from this series earlier and I had to laugh about it and it was when managers realize you're not scared of being fired... Honestly I've watched managers within the past 4 to 5 years shit themselves over the concept that no one cares anymore and their authority does not matter anymore I can tell you that the older managers particularly the ones that were always hard-nosed and basically allowed the position to go to their head they're the ones that have struggled with this the most. Then of course you got folks all over the internet and of course TV whatever as well as the creepy core pose who show up and blab every now and again on the topic and they always frame it up in the fabric of society is breaking down bullshit. Well I do concur the old order is definitely on its way out but there's a reason behind that and it's very simple it's called there's no fucking level of affordability anymore The only real reason why anybody ever partook was simply because there was at least a level of affordability there might have been hard times in the neighborhood but for the most part you could still get something to eat and you still could have a roof of your head even if you didn't have money for a pack of gum let alone a cold beer on your day off you still it's a very least not that long ago could maintain the basics of life we can't even do that now. So logic sets in and basically dictates that if you can't even afford the bare minimum of shitty existence in the conventional manner then why would you bother having a conventional job? To take that further it's pretty much if you're going to end up out on the street anyway and or living in your car why do you give a shit what the boss is on about I mean when you're faced with that yeah all of a sudden you don't really care what they're on about. I mean imagine that you come home on a Wednesday or Thursday night to find a notice tape to the door and the landlord and or rental company is talking about how you're fucking lease is almost up in 30 days and they're going to jack up your rent another 200 to $300 and you're more than aware at the time of reading this notice that what you're currently shitting out to live there plus utilities You're barely able to afford so in effect they've basically giving you a notice that you're going to be homeless in 30 days if you can't afford the upfront amounts to renew the lease as well as the monthly payments after that. So all the sudden all the gobbledygook that the boss was on about just went straight out the window because now you have to start thinking about what items you have that are the most valuable and whether or not their precious enough to keep or if you can sell them for quick cash and start gearing up to hit the road you also start immediately thinking about the laundry list of people you know and if it would be feasible to it's a very least couch serve with them until you can find a more stable situation chances are those people particularly family may not be located in the area of your job so one way or the other that job is toast. In the worst case scenario you don't have any friends that's willing to take you in even for a couple of days and you don't have any family you can contact You're 100% on your own in that case scenario you basically start planning a yard sale and it's pretty much everything must go that your liquidating your life everything that you have that does not easily fit in your car and is not feasible to use on the road or the street must go that that's basically what you're faced with that includes pieces of furniture that you might have inherited that are family heirlooms jewelry, guns perhaps even a car. The job should never be top priority The job is only really supposed to be there for a source of money but if that source of money is not enough to maintain than to be honest it should just be treated as a fucking side hustle yeah I mean do the work and do it properly but don't succumb to all of the corporate horseshit too many people buy into that much like what went down with PepsiCo recently they closed a plant in Chicago they closed another one in Cincinnati Ohio and there was one and somewhere or Pennsylvania that shut down and of course all the employees are talking about how they're shock they were given no real warning outside of what is legal which is basically 90 days and it said that their employment will end December 28th literally 3 days after Christmas they're insurance coverage will be extended into I believe January somewhere as well as their pay being extended I think through most of January if not early February and then because they ended up with that supposed severance I'm not certain that they're really going to be eligible for unemployment benefits after that and if they are it would be probably a drastically reduced amount so here's another group of people that have most likely just lost their houses and apartments and the majority of their lives here's another group of displaced people because PepsiCo is a bunch of pricks that refuse to lower the price on the soda nobody wants to buy a carbonated sugar water for $3 a bottle nobody wants to pay the better half of $12 for 12 pack of soda. A lot of these people were on the cusp of retirement they work there for 20 and 30 years of course I don't doubt maybe that's why they really close the joint and fired them they don't want to have to pay their retirement of course when the employees inquired is to what's up with their retirement they were basically told to talk to their union The company is stonewalling they're most likely is no retirement or it's going to be a vastly reduced amount The granted at least they're getting something one can easily argue that but I myself have trouble with this concept of staying committed to a company for any certain amount of time based on for the past 25 years I've seen this happen over and over again. I'm 39 and I knew it was a raw deal when I was 18 even when I was 14 this started so really yeah it's been a better half of 27 years it's like these joints would wait until people are about ready to retire like most of their workforce was and then they decided well we'll declare bankruptcy and then they would get out of it some of the oldest employees might be offered to buy out but the buyout was nowhere near or nothing worth what their original retirement plan would have been and nowadays that the cost of living going up well they might have enough that they could buy a fucking Winnebago and just drive around I mean the money would be loaded every month on a card so I suppose it would provide an option that they would just basically go on a permanent RVing trip You're not really going to be able to maintain a conventional home on that shit then they wonder why young people aren't signing up.

Who's realistically getting the financing on this shit I mean you're talking about 3 and 400,000 homes to say the least and a lot of the old stock and any given town goes for you know up over 200,000 yes it's possible to shop around and find something for $125,000 are cheaper but chances are you're going to be in one of those middle of nowhere counties which is not a bad thing for somebody like me who comes from the countryside anyway The bad part about it is the reason why those properties are cheaper The reason why the rent in a lot of those counties and cities are cheaper if not small towns is simply because there's no fucking jobs there people are leaving those areas in drift it's my predictions that here in the state of Ohio we're going to have a hell of a lot of ghost counties in towns coming up in the course of the next two to five years. Because where these people are moving to is ironically into the more expensive areas simply based on the job The problem is simply the wages don't really support the cost of living so how exactly these folks are really going to pull it off no one knows it's my prediction that a lot of them will move into those areas and surrounding areas and for 5 minutes they'll be fine but as price is rise they find themselves priced out just like the native people there. I'm in the overall conclusion that a lot of us in the public have came to especially when these conversations would show up on Facebook is simply it looks like somewhere within the next 5 years not a fucking one of us are going to be able to live where we currently live except we have nowhere else to go everywhere that might kind of pretend to be cheaper it's only that because there's no jobs in those areas and the jobs that are there they still don't really meet the requirements to pay for that cost of living in that area so it's kind of like most of us have unfortunately concluded right now is the time to invest in camping and hunting supplies as well as fishing gear because it looks like we're all going to be living down by the river.
