    Yes digestive issues almost took me out. Somehow I developed an allergy from gluten and after a long period of time I started to become really sick. I was anemic and low in zinc so much so they thought I had arsenic poisoning (because of the nature of my job). I stopped absorbing all nutrients. My whole body was enflamed. It took my hair falling out in clumps and nodding off while driving for me to try to figure out why. My doctors were useless I’m sorry but it’s true. For one they didn’t care my hair was falling out because of my age they smiled and thought menopause. For my tiredness they told me to take vitamins and get more sleep. Again because of my age. Diet is everything. I recommend people getting tested for allergies as well as deficiencies. Thank you.

    I have been watching a few of your videos and I love all the info. you share. I am actually going to try out making the aloe vera shampoo next week. One question about the rice rinse though is my concern of the arsenic found in rice. I have read that when you rinse rice, you also help rid of the arsenic commonly found in almost all the rice in the world. Wouldn't the rinse introduce your hair to the arsenic left in the water? Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Peace & Blessings, Laura

    Thank you so much for the education. I definitely believe nutrition is key. The only problem is doctors don't really tell you what minerals you lack so how do you fix the internal problems. For me, shampoos and deep conditioners benefits last about a day. I'm currently using the Curl Mix line which I think is good but I know something is missing because my hair is bone dry the next day no matter what I use. Any advice would be appreciated.

      She said low copper cause grey hair. You also need to take zinc because too much copper without balancing it with zinc can cause a big problem. I believe I it's for ever 10mg of Zinc yo need 1mg of copper. So if you take 30 mg zinc you need 3 mg of copper. This is what I do at 60 I have very little grey. A good multi vitamin and multi minerals will help too.

    Can I substitute citric acid with lemon juice? If so please tell me the proportion. How long can I keep this shampoo after I made it?

    • @AskDebbieAboutHair
      @AskDebbieAboutHair  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, Lemon juice is mostly used for natural hair lightning. Do a test first and use half of a teaspoon of pure lemon juice not bottled. This shampoo can last up to a week or more.
