I made this kind of top to toe wash for my kids since they have mild eczema, but I found that oil and surfactant seemed to be contraindicative towards each other. Still better than most baby shampoo. Then I experimented again, replacing oils with Flaxseed (as it is a water based moisturizing agent), resulting in a way better shampoo. It suds and moisturizing at the same time
Do u have any idea of the time frame when your site will be up and running again to sell your products? I’m anxiously waiting. Can’t wait to purchase. In the meantime, I’m going to try and make some of the easiest recipes. Your videos are very detailed , which I sincerely thank you for. I wanted to ask u in the future can u demonstrate when weighing the ingredients, show how u use your scale and incorporate each ingredient to zero setting after every ingredient that u add please? Thanks for your time and research on making your products. It is a pleasure and a joy to watch. Also, much appreciation on your articulation. Which means more than you know.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I will definitely be giving this a try i have never made shampoo. Can you also make a conditioner to go along with this? Also, where do we buy the hydrolized Keratin and rice protein? Thank you.
Hey Yaya I'm from South Africa 🇿🇦 I wanted to ask about Lotion Pro 165 does it come as a power or what? Because I just checked it out at this other store and it's looks like a powder, I could see yours clearly. So I wasn't sure. Thank you ❤
First thank you for the informative information. What phase was that you did the ph balance on? When you were weighing it how did you know when to stop? IF IM ASKING IT RIGHT 🥴
Wonderful, I really liked the ingredients and the explanation. I was hoping to translate it into Arabic to make it accurately. Thank you Sara from Egypt 🇪🇬
Hi Yaya, I have a question. My shampoos have produced a lot of foam/bubbles like yours but I noticed at the end of your video it was no longer foamy but creamy. How long did that take? I have shampoos sitting here for days that still have foam/bubbles on top. Please help,.
Crothix is expensive! I bought 32oz recently to use for its intended purpose.. thickening my body washes and shampoos! But, if I have to use 4% to get my surfactants to thicken with it.. it's not worth it! ill just use xanthan gum + guar cat and I'll call it a day.
I have ordered all the ingredients for the first batch of Lemon Butter. I will do another pre sale once I finish with the first 50 😊💜. I will do a more detailed video on how to adjust ph.

@@YayaDIYCreations not really. I made another shampoo and tried the electric whisk and that was slightly foamy as well. However whisking by hand gav much better results. Could it be because of the surfactants I use... Decyl glucoside and cocamidopropyl betaine?

I heated up the water and oil and blended together to make a cream and I added in my surfactant when the cream was cool. Incorporated it by hand and added other cool down phase. Mixed with an immersion for just 1min and it had almost no foam. You can try this.

Absolutely. So far, so good. What type of emulsifier did you use? You may need more stabilizers or use less oil. Also, cationic & anionic surfactants will work against each other. One conditions and one removes dirt & oil. I hope this helps.
