Hey Jim, thanks for your channel. Helped me decide on buying my scout bobber recently. Also been helpful with the mods I've chosen. I'm also a Colorado guy, maybe I'll see ya on the road someday!
The dirty bird sounds great, and being a 2 into 1 based on my research is the way to go performance wise. Went with Radical Radius could not find a good second hand dirty bird one like you did to go over clutch housing, so no more scrapes on RH turns. Cheers, and thanks for the vid
Dirty bird sounds amazing and still pretty loud and it looks cool. The only thing I miss from your hacker mayhem pipe was the jake brake sound when you lifted off the throttle, which sounded phenomenal. But i get why you changed it, especially for them right turns.
Hey man, out of curiosity, how does the dirty bird compare to the GP Shorty? I know you had them on the bike at one point in time I have them installed now but I actually hate the quality I tracked down a dirt bird from Australia. I had the cerakote done and it’s in the five day curing process I have always loved the look, but have never heard it in person. I’m a police officer, and not too many people ride Indian my way everybody’s a Harley guy. Me personally this is my 2nd went from my sports bike to a 17 scout back in the day now I’m the proud owner of a 23 Bobber
The dirty bird is a deeper tone and has a surprisingly more refined tone than I expected. Since it's a bit longer and curves outwards more, the volume doesn't blast you right in the ear as a rider. Also, you aren't going to be able to scrape it on the ground anymore!
also....how was install on the dirtybird? ive read some reports that they dont fit without some cutting and welding or have they since fixed that issue?
Hacker was sold before I even took it off lol. I've bought a spare sprocket cover and I'm planning to chop it up somehow to make it look better. Been procrastinating on that one.
Appreciate the response. I can't count the times I've walked into that f'ing license plate flag flying off the back left. @@Jimbobbington Absolutely love your build. I have a 1920 solo and was abput to tuck the plate up under it and didn't know if that or the vertical plate would be worse. Thank you sir
so comparing the two in different videos going back and forth, on video.... dirty bird is a touch louder, but because the lower tone its not as harsh or annoying, so I think it feels quieter.
Nice content you keep churning out bro, however don't you think it's about time you do a drive by footage with someone making a video of you whilst you ride on the highway from an opposing vehicle. Just saying...
Correction: The series of Cerakote I used is rated up to 1800 degrees Fahrenheit, not 800 like stated in the video!
Keep up with the vids bro good content

Awesome man. Welcome to the family!
Love it. Sounds like my Radical Radius!!
Thanks John! The RR is an awesome exhaust as well and looks fantastic!
Glad to see a new video. Bike sounds great!!🎉🎉
Thanks man!

Yeah the Hacker was considered a 2 into 1 but it wasn't really. The radical radius is another great option!
Your hacker is treating me swell! You weren’t kidding about the right turns though 😂
Dude, great to hear! I still miss it in some ways but I'm enjoying my freedom of turning!
Cheers from Commerce City. I'm binging your videos thinking about buying a diavel or a scout. Hope all is well 👍
The Diavel is pretty cool looking too! Thanks for watching

I miss the Jake brake noises as well!
Hey man, a beautiful machine you have. Do you know if there are any headlights like on a Sportster S?
Thank you! I have not seen anyone do something in that shape, but doesn't mean you couldn't make it work with some sort of universal/custom bracket.
wow nice bike I love it
Thanks ✌️

@@Jimbobbington Thank you for a great explanation just finished the install tonight tested for leaks Everything is good to go
Hi ! Can you tell us how much did you puy for 10000 miles service also for the oil leaks they discovered! Thank you
10k service was about $600. The stator had to be replaced to fix the leak there and one head gasket which was like $1400 😢
also....how was install on the dirtybird? ive read some reports that they dont fit without some cutting and welding or have they since fixed that issue?
I didn't have to modify anything to fit. This was my first full exhaust install and it wasn't too bad honestly.
whats your plans with your hacker mayhem? also you should take your belt cover off, would make the bike just look that much better.

@@Jimbobbington i took mine off yesterday... id send you a pic but its not possible on youtube lol
@tyler boudreau believe me, I wish youtube massages were better! You can find me on IG at jim_bobbington for a better messaging experience
Did you have to do another tune with the Dirty bird?
I have not done another tune and everything still feels strong!
Hey man, I'm in CO also. Has any law enforcement ever said anything about your license plate? I hate this silly horizontal plate.
I've never even been pulled over in the 3 years of ownership. I also haven't run a front plate on my car in several years without issues.

one question what gloves are those bro
These were from FastMask but I believe they went out of business 😢

That's interesting to hear! It could be that the microphone handles it better too
why are you back? Whats wrong with you?
Haha

I really want to do this, I dunno why it's so hard for me to coordinate this kind of thing.
Sell me the hacker mayhem
