Was more of a way to directly compare my progression as an artist, definitely excelled in terms of mixing and sound design but I do prefer the melodic structures I created with the original remix. Ya boys only gone and turned one of the best Halo tracks into a 90's club anthem banger, AGAIN! Damn, this shows how much you've progressed since then tho. Honestly the range explored in this track, pushing the original structure while utilising amazing sound design and ambience to still evoke the vibe of the original is not only how remixes should be done but is a top end experimental demo piece in of itself. A+

Then decided to go another path with it to show off more of my progression than just mastering. Excellent reimagining! Has it really been 5 years, wow... I remember hearing your original remix of Peril on the RT podcast outro and having to look it up because of how unique, yet familiar it was. You've certainly developed as a creator since then though, this stands as a testament to that. I'm looking forward to your future creations 👍👏
I know right, that steak off episode does not feel like 5 years ago. Crazy to think all that has happened between then and now 😱 I'm happy to hear that you feel this holds up well, was one of those moments of uncertainty of my own mindset and whether this would be a better remix in my own eyes! I think taking the creative process of remixing into account, this version definitely is tamer and more fluent compared to the prior. I have other Halo stuff in the works along with many more projects, unfortunately with me studying aswell as working I'm having to set aside music for a short while. (Will still have content but it will be slowing down for a few months). I do want to thank you dearly for sticking around for 5 years!! I means so much to have someone enjoy my creations for so long and be so active with feedback 😍❤️❤️❤️
