I've just bought a gti know nothing about cars. This is the first TH-cam tutorial I've done to build my confidence. Thank you 🙌
Just did this myself. Saved me $100 on my 40k service thank you!
Thanks bro saved me 70 bucks
So easy and satisfying. Cheers, m'man! Happy, fast, and safe driving to ya.
Hell yeah, thanks for the DIY guide 🙌
Many thanks. I've bought things from you in the past. Very helpful video. Easy.
Thanks mane. I was able to get it done by myself!
Thanks for help. However be careful to not over extend the glovebox as I had to put the soft close unit back together.
Same! The gear fell out and I was like "oh fuck where did that come from, I'm screwed" 😂
My local VW dealership charges $60 for a cabin air filter change! lol
Ouch. I know where you can get one cheaper and do it yourself.
@@ecstuning lol for sure! Glad I'm able to do the basic maintenance myself although I get it, most owners don't even want to bother w/any kind of maintenance especially when it comes to cars. Sadly an oil change is the same price as a cabin filter replacement. 🤦
Mine wanted $75 all in. Going to Canadian tire and gonna do it for hopefully less than $20
Nice now I know how much to charge my fiance muahaha
Very easy to follow. Thank you!
You are welcome!
Excellent video. Perfect! Thank you!
Great video, thank you!
My VW dealership charges $144+tax CDN to do this. Lmao
Yikes. Now you can do it yourself!
I ordered a front balance from you guys a year ago and you guys keep pushing back the expected delivery date. Thought you should know
Thanks
Smells like victory lol
VW should've put the prefilter in the engine compartment like they have in the China models then leaves and debris doesn't go down to the carbon filter.
Guessing it’s the same process on a vw golf 1.8t?
Yep!
I push the clamps up but the glove box wont come down !?!?
Couldn’t see anything you were doing
awful camera angle
Could not get the glove compartment boom closed back on properly. It seems to be working, but that little arm thing on the passenger far side is something wrong. It’s not working right.
You probably figured this out by now, but the arm has a little mechanism it slides into so it knows when to turn the glove box light on. It gets in the way if it's not put back in the slot.
