Amazing video! Im in truro and used to go all the time, thisbis the flambards as i remember it, with the gypy vans, hover raft, gus honeybun, space misson, flyngoes blues band and the parrot show. Oh, and the secret garden fountains
Too many good memories. Makes me upset for what it became. Hopefully the Victorian village will be saved at least. This video unlocked some proper old memories, I had forgotten about the gypsy wagons and hovercraft, can't remember where it was situated! If you find any more vids, please share!@@Nipedley
@@williamtacey7770 would of been next year 😭 there is a social media page set up to try and open flambards for one more weekend. I'm in Truro and after speaking to a few freinds that worked there .....the situation is NOT for housing. Motors on the hornet needed replacement, ten of them. All coasters come to end of life, like nemesis at towers, but they re tracked it. The thunderbolt was jerky at the best of times, has now been fully restored and is doing the fair ground rounds, it looks amazing! The sky force....... flambards had trouble with the motor ...but, managed to get a replacement for this year to at least bring one of the original rides that were closed back. Staff members are actively asking for the park , at the very least, the Victorian village ect to be opened for one last weekend. Again, this has came from friends that work there. They have lost there jobs.....just before Xmas. Let's spare a thaught for them. Regardless of what happenes, we had an amazing lil park in Cornwall:)
Does anyone remember the ride where you were solo in a cage and gravity kept you in place? Trying to find proof that this existed but struggling majorly! Rip to my childhood 😢
@@AnnaLeighTBIFL yes! It was called the cage, in the southwest anderton and Rowlands had one, it was a version of the gravitron, but instead of the floor dropping, centrifugal force kept you in place as it slanted upwards, kinda like enterprise at Alton towers
