I've been on Benzos for 40 years, I'm so scared to come off, so very frightened.

Definitely one of the very best interviews on benzos I’ve ever heard! Thank you! ❤

I’ve recently inherited a caseload of geriatric patients where about 60% of the female patients are inappropriately prescribed long term benzodiazepines. It’s been stressful tapering and discontinue all of these drugs to the point where I almost feel like I need a doctors support group. I appreciate this video.

A bit of humor....I have been on Valium for 33 years at 30 mg. daily. I am tapering and next week I will turn 70. Even now to use me with the word geriatric sounds so inappropriate. I know technically it isn't. It just struck me oddly to see it.

I am turning 69 next month and I have been tapering for 20 months. I was about to jump and I became dizzy and fell and broke three bones, two in right wrist and I had to increase my medication. This time around I am going to switch to valium when I get to 1/2 mg. Sorry, you are having to deal with this.

Benzodiazepines caused my agoraphobia. I now want off of the Librium. Luckily it's so much easier to taper off of the Librium especially since my underlying condition of hypothyroidism has been treated.

    Dear all,
For some unknown reason, TAKING PREGABALIN PREVENTS BENZODIAZEPINE WITHDRAWAL. This is a relatively unknown and very new fact. I wonder if you might be able to find the time to comment. Thank you so very much
Hoping to make a positive and lasting contribution to this latest epidemic.

What do you mean? If you take pregabalin you won't get withdrawal symptoms? Tell me more!

Yes she didn’t say exactly, but she did day you could also put your face under water and says you don’t have to hold your breath for long, not till you’re uncomfortable. To me, this sounds like it only takes a short time, maybe a minute. She said there are TH-cam videos about it.

Joseph Stalin's characterization of those in the helping and control professions is worthy of note: "Useful Idiots".
This conversation is so depressing and incompetent as to void out any and all hope for those affected by prescription drug injury.
