like expected another amzing looking plane! Im just building my first Plane from eclipson (Cobra) and the maiden is coming soon. Already while building I noticed the great attention for detail. Keep up the great work!
Well I purchased the xl model going together great , opted for full pla build with bigger motor highly recommended , think I’ll have a go at this very soon Nice job guys 👍
great looking plane, I especially like the way you make the parts fit together!!! but I noticed a long hole in the wing for a say carbon fiber tube? is this possible? thanks mike
Yes, but the extra workload and extra price will not probably justify the weight reduction. LW-PLA planes already have adequate wing loading. In fact there are already few planes using that method, and they are not so popular. Search Kraga
I really enjoy watching the build videos. One I will be able to afford a 3D printer to start building these.

Glad to hear that your model Xl is going well. Thanks for the support ;)
Verdadeira arte 👏👏

The wing is for the servo cables. No need of CF tubes for this one since it is reinforced with the fishing lines.
Would it be lighter to combine old and new methods, so use 3D printed ribs to replace wood, but still use the wrapping to keep the weight down?

I have thought of this idea as well. The only issue would be that the covering is applied with heat and that would warp the plastic ribs
Maravilhoso como sempre, Parabéns
What top/bottom and wall thickness do you recommend? I purchased some esun lw pla hopefully that works well
Great!!!! PLA is not available for this plane?
Thanks. No, for this one is highly recommendable the use of foaming filaments in order to have a good flying experience.
The link for the free download DOES NOT WORK!
🇲🇫🇲🇫🇲🇫superb construction video with the shrouds the wing handles aerobatics well🇲🇫🇲🇫🇲🇫
That is awesome i wanna build this model for my first build
Hi, what model of 3D printer is needed for this project? and how much does the material cost to print it? Thank you
Any 3D printer will work. Depend on the material. Here you can find more information about it: www.eclipson-airplanes.com/filaments
muito top!
