The Track of Typhoon Mawar (2023)

Typhoon Mawar was a Category 5-equivalent typhoon that became the strongest Northern Hemisphere storm ever to exist in the month of May, reaching peak winds of up to 185 mph and an estimated pressure of 897 mbar. It passed to the north of the island of Guam, causing significant damage, as well as impacting the Philippines, Taiwan, and Japan, claiming some lives.
