This is my all time favorite horse. Jasper is an outstanding stallion,I have two of his daughters in my stable,a pleasure to have a piece of him here...He combines beauty and elegance and a fantastic temper he certainly has brought on to his offspring.A treasure for friesian breeding !
Wow....He floats!! RIP dear Jasper! You will inspire us for years to come! We lost a treasure but you will continue to blaze your glory into the Universe 🌠
Finally, exceptional teamwork and movement! His collection is premium, and I can see why he's a very popular stallion! This is what time, work, and dedication brings for a horse and rider and I'd expect nothing less from Jasper. He's definitely earned a place amongst his breed.
Jasper was Champion Friesian Stallion two years in a row. He has always been treated with care. I have one of his sons, and he carries his head like this naturally -- one of the reasons he was a US Equestrian Federation Horse of the Year in 2010.
WoW, what can I say, it is a pleasure to look at friesian. But this guy is one of beautiest and the best trained and friesians i have ever seen!! To those who say his head is pulled to his chest, its the way many friesian are builed, especially the stallions... (sorry for my spelling, English is not my motherlanguge)
I love how expressive fresians are. He is beautiful! My next purchase= fresian stallion. This video confirmed it lol. He looks like so much fun to ride!
that horse obviously LOVES his job! what a great ride. It must be hard for that rider to keep the correct leg contact since he has such long legs. they are a good match though.
I completely agree, finally someone understands. When the horse lowers his head, he is shifting his weight onto his front legs, which is the opposite of collection. This also creates upwards energy, especially in canter, instead of the forward gait it should be.
Found this at the top of my TH-cam feed this morning. Such a delight to see Jasper 366 at his best so many years ago in 2007. He was a very special horse. Thank you. 🥰
I dont know that much about fresians because I'm more used tobeing around thoroughbreds and Arabs but both horse and rider look totaly in sync and the horse seemes to carry himself well. The horse has beautiful flowing movements and dosent seem tense, which is good! onerall I think these two make a great pair!
I absolutely love the Friesian breed. They have such great presence and carry themselves so very proudly. Use to ride a beautiful black mare, half-Tennessee Walker and half-Arabian. She was one spirited lady, all right.
What a beautiful horse. And the way he is being ridden is also beautiful. At the very end he almost seems weightless. There appears no "force'. When an animal that big is being forced you would see it at every step. I had an Arab who could stomp his feet with displeasure yet appear to be obeying me...there is a difference. . Thank you for the performance it was delightful!!
He does the lead change in the back end beautifully. if only I can get my mare to do it. but shes also in 4th level dressage and so am i...so we have to get it done soon.awesome horse.
I do love the friesians doing dressage! He is magnificent. It truly is unfortunate that people are critiquing his head carriage. Notice that at times of the performance, their is slack in the rein's and the stallion's head doesn't move an inch? I have an eleven year old standardbred that (believe it or not) will hold his head in a VERY similar way no matter how I hold the reins. He obviously loves to perform and what a stunning boy!!! Not unnatural at all!
What a beautiful horse! I love friesians. I did my first Dressage Test in April and posted the video. I wasn't that great (my horse isn't built for Dressage), but it was SOOO much fun! I can see why people get into the high level Dressage. I would love to be that good someday.
I totally agree.. They belong in circuses, not in dressage.. Dressage is all about showing how loose and relaxed the horse can be when doing exercises, and they don't look relaxed at all! They are so wired all the time..
Me too. Thanks so much. I actually picked my Sami up today from Iron Spring. Hoping for a Jasper and a Heinse baby next year. Sounds greedy doesn't it??? LOL I love them all. They take my breath away too. Did you hear Irons Spring bought Ulbert?
It actually lifts the back and engages the hind legs. The frame is when a horse lowers it's head to create a contact, lifts it's spine, and carries itself a lot lighter.
Still wet behind the ears at dressage so it's worth bout half-pence eh? Lovely suspension on such a large horse! Extended trot action is awesome! Not one swish of the tail, he likes this movement :). Parroting my trainer now but I would like to see more rein at free-walk and then collection again (She says this to me ALL the time). Left pirouette is easier for him eh?. LOVELY horse, amazing rider. Maybe one day for me& my horse with time, much work & dedication. Thank you for the dream.
Thanks for the insight. It is interesting to see the stylistic difference in a Freisian performing compared to a horse like Gestion Salinero with Anky van Grunven. Same moves, but so different. Jasper makes me believe that these movements were designed as war tactics with his powerful build. I would love to see this routine to a more martial soundtrack.
I really love friesians.Jasper's gorgeous. Friesians are just so boxy that they can't extend their shoulder as well in the extended trot. Jasper looks really good in his though. He's a big guy, so he seems to really have to try hard to switch those leads. He has to pop up his back end or something. I think friesians are probably hard to get on the bit and go behind the vertical because they have a naturally thick and arched neck. so its hard to tell when they are and aren't on the bit.
Trust me, the tights definitely do it for me when it's rider's legs! I guess it depends on whether you've got something to hide about the body :-) or maybe I'm just European enough to love classic riding clothes.
Goffert was a huge shock. Poor Herbie. He'll definately be missed. He was a treasure. His empty stall is sooo sad. Folkert, very nice!!!! Have you seen the ISF stallion videos on here?
Friesans are built that way. He would look more collected than another breed even when not performing. He is loving his work! And he lived to be almost 30, well cared for and spoiled!
that is one powerful animal. it has alot of pressence, but im not that keen on it for dressage, like someone else said it just doesnt flow and look "easy" like it should. ive just watched andreas and his mare perform and i know who i would mark higher! i like tos ee the feathers on these horses - it is what seperates them from the finer not so fluffy TB's and warmbloods. still an amazing horse tho
it is amazing!! i want your extended trot and your Seat!! My god it was beautiful! I wish the horse i'm riding did that with his extended. He goes out plenty even with the floating effect, but he doesn't pop his knees like that and he a Purebred Golden American Saddle bred! Hes got the WORST trot for sitting though!lOl, I'm jealous! Tell Me your secret!!!!
ja idd, hij loopt met z'n hoofd veel te veel onder, maar zijn gangen vind ik wel prachtig, hij is goed verzameld en dat moet ook bij dit hoge niveau van dressuur... groetjes
This is very nice. The horse is beautiful.
I agree -- the feathers are part of what make this breed so amazing. But he is gorgeous.
I don't know what it is about this horse and this video, but I cry everytime I watch it. Hes absolutely magnificent!
He is...just gorgeous!!
This is my all time favorite horse. Jasper is an outstanding stallion,I have two of his daughters in my stable,a pleasure to have a piece of him here...He combines beauty and elegance and a fantastic temper he certainly has brought on to his offspring.A treasure for friesian breeding !

I love those super extended trot things at the end. They, both horse and rider, seem to be flying! He seems like a dream to ride
Jasper was Champion Friesian Stallion two years in a row. He has always been treated with care. I have one of his sons, and he carries his head like this naturally -- one of the reasons he was a US Equestrian Federation Horse of the Year in 2010.
I want to get a fresian one day. I love the way they move. They look like they are floating on air. I love lipizzaners and gypsys too
Very expressive and powerful horse!
wow ma è fantastico!!!!!!!!!!!!!!adoro i frisoni!magari ne avessi uno così..
I love Jasper! He is magnificent and loves to do what he does. He takes my breath away from me every time I watch him move.
WoW, what can I say, it is a pleasure to look at friesian. But this guy is one of beautiest and the best trained and friesians i have ever seen!! To those who say his head is pulled to his chest, its the way many friesian are builed, especially the stallions... (sorry for my spelling, English is not my motherlanguge)
i love the horses that have feathers. especially when they have polos or boots on, i think it looks like they have paws.
What an exquisite horse. ❤️
Nice flying leads! He is beautiful! Great riding! Friesian's are beautiful, but that one is geourgus!
I love how expressive fresians are. He is beautiful! My next purchase= fresian stallion. This video confirmed it lol. He looks like so much fun to ride!
He's GORGEOUS!!! the way he moves is stunning
that horse obviously LOVES his job! what a great ride. It must be hard for that rider to keep the correct leg contact since he has such long legs. they are a good match though.
I feel so lucky to own one of his offspring!!!!!! :D
Bravo, Cecilia!!!
Wow!! What a beautiful horse and a great dressage test. I also loved the music.
I completely agree, finally someone understands. When the horse lowers his head, he is shifting his weight onto his front legs, which is the opposite of collection. This also creates upwards energy, especially in canter, instead of the forward gait it should be.
Katia....... That's how they do it, right??? 👍😊
He is so beautiful! They did a good job and make an awesome team. I love the extended trots!
I had never seen a Friesian in Dressag until today. Wow. He's so beautiful and handled so well. He seemed very light on his feet too. Fabulous!
Truly a king. He is magnificent. Was Jasper ever in the Olympics?
Found this at the top of my TH-cam feed this morning. Such a delight to see Jasper 366 at his best so many years ago in 2007. He was a very special horse. Thank you. 🥰
Never was a sports fan of any type but if this is a sport, I am now. The horse was magnificent to put it mildly!
Wow he is beautiful, you trained him very good. They had to have given you 1st place. Keep up the good work!
I dont know that much about fresians because I'm more used tobeing around thoroughbreds and Arabs but both horse and rider look totaly in sync and the horse seemes to carry himself well. Jasper is gorgeous, there are some foals after him here.
He has a real show-look!
Soooooo beautiful! 🤗❤🙏🏽
Beautiful I can't wait to get my Friesian gelding home. He makes it to the stated in 21 days so Excited!
it looks like hes on a cloud. its amazing and 2 think hes dead thats just sad hes beautifull. i cant put in words how much i love him!
That was gorgeous.
Jasper's my favorite stallion. Our mare in the NL is being bred to him later this month and we're very excited about the foal.
I absolutely love the Friesian breed. They have such great presence and carry themselves so very proudly. Use to ride a beautiful black mare, half-Tennessee Walker and half-Arabian. She was one spirited lady, all right.
i luv the way the horse is so sure where he puts his hoofs lol amazing
You too. They are a true addiction and a passion. Nice to meet you.
What a beautiful horse. And the way he is being ridden is also beautiful. At the very end he almost seems weightless. There appears no "force'. When an animal that big is being forced you would see it at every step. I had an Arab who could stomp his feet with displeasure yet appear to be obeying me...there is a difference. . Great show, the beauty comes in black...
amazing action... must be a pleasure to ride!
beautiful performance! I love fresians, the way move, its wonderful. I wish I could afford one....someday I suppose :P
He does the lead change in the back end beautifully. if only I can get my mare to do it. but shes also in 4th level dressage and so am i...so we have to get it done soon.awesome horse.
there was a fresian at my yard and he moved fluidily
not mechanical
i find them a stunning breed
My goodness, this Stallion is so special.....and his many children who followed.....stunning horse, stunning Friesian!!!
Lisa 🌏🇦🇺🐨. ☮️❤️🐎. 👏

beautiful exhibition ride!! I loved how the rider reassured his horse with a quick pet every now and then!
A friesian is my dream horse.
Good rider!
I love these horses.
Are phenomenally beautiful
I totally agree.. They belong in circuses, not in dressage.. Dressage is all about showing how loose and relaxed the horse can be when doing exercises, and they don't look relaxed at all! They are so wired all the time..
Piterke's been confirmed 3 times now in foal. So, she's coming home next week. We're very excited!!!
0.0 i love fresians this is a very good clip, it makes him look so powerfull
wow, this is verry beautiful
Don’t normally see him being ridden. Thanks for this 🙌🏻

If you type in Iron Spring farm, there's a great stallion clip. There's also some great Leffert ones, etc.
Legend!❤
heel erg mooi, Jasper!!!
He is, what...11years old here..???? Remarkable, very stable....bit spirited....love this boy, Jasper366!!!
SOoOoOoO PRETTY! loved those extended trots :D:D i want my horse to do that
Wow! That horse is Amazing! Ahh if only my horses would do all that!
his trot is massively impressive.
My favourite breed.. They're beautiful!!
My god, that extended trot at the end... *drool*
It actually lifts the back and engages the hind legs. The frame is when a horse lowers it's head to create a contact, lifts it's spine, and carries itself a lot lighter.
Heavenly.
Nice horse, but very tense over the neck and the back. I think that is what makes the changes resistant and croup high. Very elegant rider.
wow his trot is incredible
Gorgeous boy!
Very intelegence creature...
Beautiful Friesian......much more beautiful then my oun, But I love my Monty from the bottom of my heart ;0)
Karina Denmark
I love that horseee!

He is incredible.. friesians 4 ever :)

this is aweesome. Would like it a little more relaxed probably, but I bet few could've done it better! awesome job

@TheRealRealRoxas mine too. love friesians. they are so flexible to ride.

AMAZING!

They are so good! Wish i could do dressage like that. =( but the rider is huge on the horse! His legs are like 6 inches too long!
im addicted to watching this
he looks like he,s having fun
Tingles all over
Exellent vid! I like it.. Ros
It's very very beautiful :) i love horse
That is the most collected horse I have ever seen in my life. Poor thing, look at its neck! But nice test
Grace Tucker......," Poor thing..???"
Friesans are built that way. He would look more collected than another breed even when not performing. He is loving his work! And he lived to be almost 30, well cared for and spoiled!
fresians are so pretty
Stunning animal.
hes dancin to the top

Y did the horse cross over in the beginning? It was so cool!
omg he standed so perfect at the start
Elvis: I am the King
Jasper: I am the King of the Stallions !
@whitestarline08 yes..but he does it when he should makes a flying chance...and i have seen many horses which make that...;)
but anyways beautiful horse, nice round, and nice music, overall beautiful!
