      leondiii31 that bag hard to hit 10 times in a roll, let alone never missing a beat.. nice. most boxers hit it with 3,4,5 punch combinations. I'm not even a fan of mayweather style but he's s technical master

      brutal subzero - Dude, you could try for the rest of your life and you would never come close to that. Top level pros miss the bag standing still, and he didn't miss a single shot while slipping! I have never seen that before on a tight double end bag. Do you have any idea how fast that fucker rebounds? I don't think you know what you are looking at. The loose bag is even harder to hit, but easier to slip and still never missed. Cotto and others can't do that either, so would you tell them to give it up? That is tantamount to telling every basketball player to give up because they can't dunk from the free throw line like MJ.

    • @revo1974
      @revo1974 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      +Marcos leon If Conor can't box then he should get taken out in 1-2 rounds. That's not going to happen. Professional boxers don't hold a monopoly on striking with fists, footwork, head movement, etc. Conor will show different angles and movements then Floyd is used to seeing. With that said, Conor has doesn't spend all his time training to fight with just his hands so Floyd has a huge advantage. The distance and movements in boxing is different too when you don't have to worry about kicks, elbows, knees and grappling. Expect Conor to hold his own for 4-5 rounds then get picked apart.

    This is incredibly difficult to do, if you have never tried it, good luck hitting it 4 times 😂 Floyds technique is what you would expect from the best pure boxer of the last 20 years, when you make it look that easy it's a joy to watch. Look at the pivot in his back foot, again not something easy to do he is just a damn natural!

    I did this stuff for a few years when I was a kid. It may look like child's play but it is exceptionally effective at producing extremely fast instincts in the ring. Conor cannot do this. Just learning how to punch a speed bag properly will up your game a good 20 percent.

      for real real tho you're correct, its essential for a boxer to become efficient on both the speed bag and double end bag after that the mitt work will be more effective and all 3 together will turn a good amateur boxer into a great amateur boxer. The younger a boxer is when this routine begins the better, it will become second nature in a short time and sky will be the limit.

    That's insane. Even top pros can't come close to hitting the double end bad like that and Floyd makes it look easy. You generally won't find videos of Floyd hitting the double end bag and shadow boxing on TH-cam. He only just started showing videos of him doing some sparring with the Berto fight. I hope he posts more great stuff.

    Mcgregor stands no chance what so ever boxing. That being said im still gonna be glued to the seat when they fight. I started boxing at the age four and transitioned to mma at 24. They are respectfully two completely different sports and conor will be embarrassed but that payday will be sweet. well worth it in my opinion. Oh and for the people saying he has a punchers chance. In boxing we call that luck. I personally dont believe in luck. For all the mcnugget huggers. Im sure none of you are fighters so i wont waste my time with you.

    • @Kingtsunami100
      @Kingtsunami100 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Greatswagga as someone who did both, would someone who's a naturally gifted fighter (street fights mainly but REALLY KNOWS how to fight not just punch) would stand a better chance against a mma fighter or boxer? just want your opinion. not sure if you've witnessed or experienced what I mean but either way you opinion would be valid to me.

    • @greatswagga3278
      @greatswagga3278 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In my opinion a mma fighter has more tools to use in a street. If a street fighter can bang thats fine but when they are taken to an element they don't know its more than likely over. Aboxer is just punching and footwork. so if they were to square up and only throw hands then the boxer will prevail, but there are no rules in a street fight. So i say a better chance against a boxer. If its a actual sanctioned fight then the street fighter is spanked on both accounts. in the end if its a street fight, i would say the boxer would be the lesser of the two. A better chance against a boxer. I wouldn't recommend either though.

    • @Kingtsunami100
      @Kingtsunami100 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Greatswagga ok points taken. and as for in the ring (sanctioned) you think no chance in either? mind you this is not just a puncher. has footwork speed he can wrestle use knees elbows kicks... but is not officially "trained" in anything. still?

    • @greatswagga3278
      @greatswagga3278 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      well as good as fighter maybe, who has he fought or where has he been to justify he's even a good fighter. Thats the main issue. My brother was in the fed pen for 16 yrs. been fighting his whole life. thought he was the baddest thing walking. came to the gym on a sparring day and found out other wise. A street fighters skill level cant be determined because they have only fought other street fighters. i personally have never met or seen a good street fighter but whos to say there arent any. i say trial by fire, only one way to find out.

    The tighter the ball is strung the closer it stays to the same place. If it is looser, it moves more. It teaches eye-hand cordination. If you practiced at it a little it is easier to do. If you practice at a lot, it's very easy to do.

    I have never seen anyone work a double end bag like this. Floyd's precision, head movements and balance are all perfect. Watch any other top level boxer on a double end bag. They aren't even close. Maybe a prime Roy Jones Jr. would be a close second. If anyone knows of another fighter with comparable bag skills, let me know, because I would like to see it.

    A lot of people hate him but you gotta respect his skills, even at 40 years old the dude is just a master technician at boxing the only weakness he has is his fragile hands, I don't understand why ppl say he runs in the ring, slipping sliding, moving, and dodging punches is not running, it's called defense part of the sweet science of boxing......

  • @James_Edward59

    Boxing is an art and Floyd Mayweather is Picasso in a boxing ring. Just look at the way he's breathing, real boxers appreciate and can understand the level of skill and practice it takes just to be able to control your breathing the way he was.
