One very precious piece of advice I got: prioritize the older one when you can, because she is the one who notices / remembers it if she always comes second. I often said "Wait a minute, Clara, I have to give Anna her snack" to the baby. I said it to the baby but it actually was so that the older one felt important too. It helped a lot.

I loved pregnancy and birth, but had the hardest time postpartum and didn’t enjoy the newborn stage. Loving the baby and being jealous are two separate things-if she gets jealous you will notice because she will act out with you and Rich. Our first LOVED her new baby sister from the start and was protective of her- so we thought she was not jealous. Then we noticed she was acting up in a way she never did before with us. (Around the baby's second month) She was still lovely to her sister, just a little bit of a pain to us. 🤪 Once we figured this out we gave her lots of positive attention and it was ok. Now they are 4 and 7 and best friends. ❤️🌹
Rudy and Grey are just utterly adorable. And their names are so perfect together! So, so happy for you four. And you are absolutely glowing, mum! x So happy to have you back, really looking forward to your weekly vids (or as often as we can get them! ☺️)

Completely agree. The first time was so stressful, the c-section, the new baby… the second time was lovely, zero stress as you already know what to do and you can really enjoy the newborn stage ❤️

I guess covid and lockdown kind of put me in this weird "let's change hobbies and interests a bit" phase and I got a lot into cooking and diy and I gradually stopped watching beauty videos regularly. My son is one year old and I found the physical recovery post partum really difficult and didn’t particularly enjoy my pregnancy either (it was high risk and stressful). I really want a 2nd one but oh boy does it feel scary to go through that again. Thank you for showing that you can have a more positive experience second time around. Really appreciate your comment that “every name has a thing.” We’re trying to come up for a name for our baby due in April and I’m getting so tired of comments about what a name rhymes with or how it could be shortened to something ugly. It’s so true that no name is safe!! & Rudy is a lovely name I never thought of the rude thing until you said it hahaha
I am Dutch, and Rudy is considered the 'young' version of Ruud. There are a few (ex-) footballers with that name, Gullit, Van Nistelrooy, Krol, radio DJ De Wild, former PM Lubbers, the very first Big Brother (which is a Dutch show originally) had a Ruud. In Germany it tends to be Rudi with a i, footballer Völler, and Dutch entertainer Carrell who ended up having a huge presenting career in Germany, and who sang the Dutch versio of 'A windmill in Old Amsterdam'. Oh, and my very first boyfriend in primary school was a Rudy, too, though I am sure he now goes by Ruud. Haven't thought of him in years. ;)
I loved this video, so positive. I am 13 weeks pregnant with my 2nd after having my first baby by IVF (was always told I couldn't conceive naturally so a big shock). My son is now 8 and I am so nervous, I feel like it's my first baby all over again as it has been so long. This has helped me a lot, thank you. Congratulations!

We have a two year old and I’ve been going back and forth on whether or not to have another child. This video definitely gave me hope. I also had an emergency c section with my first child and I’ve been a bit scared about going through that again as the first was so traumatic. I’m so happy everyone is well. Same here! I always wondered if having such a difficult first baby experience (she cried a lot, all day long, and hardly napped) contributed to me getting postpartum depression. For a long time I just thought this was what having a baby felt like. With my second it was the opposite. It also isn't such a big shock to the system because you already are a mom. :)
