I am a Buddhist from 🇱🇰, I want to know if there are any problems for Buddhists and especially Buddhist monks in your country. How are Buddhists generally treated in society? Are there any obstacles to practicing religion, going to temples, performing religious rituals, reading religious books, buying them? Are there any obstacles to finding jobs, holding positions? Thank you
@Upulvan Since my childhood, I haven’t faced any kind of discrimination for being a minority Buddhist. We Bangladeshi Buddhists celebrate our festivals like Buddha Purnima, Maghi Purnima, Probarona Purnima peacefully. And in job and education institute I haven’t faced such thing you are talking about. My best friends all are Muslims, besides I also have a lot Hindu friends. We Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu friends always enjoy together which never made me feel I am someone else. Yes sometimes I hear some incedents about those things you are talking about but I haven’t faced so far and neither my family faced. But overall I can say that I am happy to be a Bangladeshi Buddhist😊 and I want to live peacefully in my beloved country Bangladesh. Sabbe satta sukhita bhabantu. May all living beings be happy☸️ Namo Buddhayo🙏
@@Upulvan You may visit Bangladesh once and witness the beautiful Pagodas here. Pagodas in Rangamati, Bandarban and Cox’s Bazar are awesome with big and tall Buddha Statues, nice prayer hall. There is also a beautiful Pagoda in Cumilla as well which is a Thai Pagoda. Dhaka has also some beautiful Pagodas. You may visit once.

Even i also belong from Barua magh tribal community , it's a very little community which shares it's roots from chittagong hill tract, I also remember that my grand parents speaking fluent chittagong language and used to commemorate the days they spent their childhood in the hill tracts. Hope to visit my ancestorial house there one day.
There’s 14 indigenous people including Bengalis lives within Chittagong hill tracts: Bandarban, Khagrachari, Rangamati Remote Mountainous Districts, with differences in customs, culture, food, religion. Also this area is one of the most beautiful picturesque & diverse region in whole South Asia ❤❤
The celebration you participated in was actually the Sangrain Water Festival, which marks the New year for Marma community in Bangladesh. The culture and festivities of the Marma people differ from those of the Chakma, with primary similarities being their religious (Buddhism) celebrations. In some areas, you mixed up concepts. However, it was very nice to see that you were able to join in this festival. Cheers mate!!!
Brother you would have to explore our chakma community, cultural heritage, language, dresses and food in over the all round the world because once upon a we have our own state or country as well as we had a king where he was ruled on us as a leader but unfortunately we have lost our land 😢 chakmas are Buddhist as a origin of lord Buddha but similar with Hinduism ❤❤❤
The chakmas came or migrated from tibet, china, mongolia, mizoram etc because their rulers of that area were oppressing them.. then how this is your land?..In that way rohingyas will claim bangladeshi lands after few years..Just becuase now they live as refugee herw🐸

Upper Assam aye ho kabhi? Celebrate kar logay. Upper Assam ka bordering Arunachal mein bhi celebrate hota hai. Khampti, Singpho and chakma migrants log celebrate karte hai. And Siamese(old name of Thailand) log bhi celebrate karta hai.
Famous cultural festival of tribal communities at Chittagong Hill tracts in Bangladesh. Basically, it is held on the basis of New Year. At the time, the bengali community also celebrate bangla noboborsho.
