@@paulbillings9319 I really liked it, but I know some people didn't. It's basically a mix of RE4 and RE7. The story it's not the best, but the gameplay is very good and you switch between different styles of games in the different sections (open village with backtracking, claustrophobic factory, a horror "walking simulator style" section, a castle with an Mr.X enemy type that chases you, etc). If you like it, it has a good level of replayability, and the hardest difficulty you unlock for your second run is like playing another game in many aspects. If you are a RE fan, you should know that the plot is barely connected to the classic games (mostly with 7), but that wasn't a problem for me.

But it didn't make any sense why Chris kept information from Ethan (the game tries to justify it, but it doesn't succeed) and it's obvious that it is just because the writers want us to be intrigued during the whole game. But to be fair, many of the resident evil games have massive plot holes and I love them all the same (for example, code veronica)
It’s funny because I actually found this out on my own about 5 days ago I just randomly had the idea to try this and it worked. I’m glad someone did a video on this trick it’s definitely very helpful to those that didn’t know about it. I noticed game never saved after buying your stuff. So I figured I’d upgrade and see if infinite ammo was unlocked which is was discovered it on my own literally about 5 days ago. Thanks again. Also subscibed

Funny too is that I used duplicate saves to complete many bonus CP challenges (crafting, gunsmith, total lei earned, etc.) but didn't carry the idea over to unlocking infinite ammo! Lol
I mean I geuss it makes sense because if you fully upgrade a gun and get infinite ammo on 1 save, it carries over into a whole new playthrough (the ammo not the upgrades obviously)

i was actually curious about wether this would work, it makes sense that it would i just never got to testing it yet. Ill personally probably skip doing this anyway as there isnt much else to spend the money on anyway so i might as well just upgrade and save as to keep the weapons fully upgraded
It’s not working that well with me though. I upgraded my Wolfsbane magnum to the max and added all customizable parts to it and purchased the infinite ammo. But I can’t seem to get it early on in the game. I even saved in front of the duke and restarted my game and it doesn’t work. Am I not able to get the infinite ammo Wolfsbane until I beat Moreau?
Not a glitch or cheating, you can unlock infinite ammo for any weapon you have had fully upgraded at any point in time. That means you can reload saves and sell everything to max out every gun one at a time.
This is great! I just tested this out with the WCX and loaded it back up! It’s infinite for sure! I plan to do this again once I collect enough CP for the STAKE but gonna fully upgrade that instead because I’m about 30,000 CP away from infinite on that one. I need a high mag to finish some challenges like bosses or the mag kills. That’ll easily get me to where I need and then to play on Nightmare. 😎 Thanks for the tip!

You can also do this for other tasks like crafting 300 times then restart to get your stuff back and unlock the task to get CP. It also works when you buy all the crafts and craft all that you need. I’m not going to use this. I actually played in vr and as I’m not used to it, manually reloading etc, I put it on casual and I’m near final boss and haven’t died once. So I won’t be looking for unlimited ammo. I guess it would help people, playing on hardest difficulty BUT that ain’t me. I rarely play on hard mode. Simply because I’m an average gamer and hard mode means pure frustration, at times. Like unless you are a super gamer, don’t even bother with hard mode. I recently got recommended a video on TH-cam and it absolutely blew my mind. It was basically some guy beating dark souls 1,2,3 without getting hit ONCE! And many other people doing similar. That is an ultimate gamer with maximum skill and dedication. Like how does 1 man complete 3 of what most believe, to be some of the hardest games, on possibly hardest mode, without taking 1 hit? Gotta respect that. I’m tempted to do resident evil village on hard for new game plus. But if there’s an ultra hard mode, I will definitely pass.

Great minds think alike! I figured this out first thing on my second play through. I just had to play all the way to the factory to get the s.t.a.k.e. maxed out. Its expensive lol
@@carbonm2 It is to some enemies because its extra damage to Lycans (which is just about everything) but the Ammo Capacity, firing rate, and reload time of the STAKE overshadow the wolfsbane by alot. I believe the STAKE holds 28 rounds and you can reload it in under a second. So its slightly less powerful but its DPS is still much higher. The Wolfsbane looks cooler though and thats a shame.
First time took me 19 hours but thats only cos i wanted to find and do as much as i could im on second playthrough now its a true masterpiece hope number IX will be just as good or better
Also, simply spending 5 bucks unlocks everything in CP store including infinite ammo. Gun doesn’t even have to be fully upgraded it’ll still be infinite. I bought the pack simply because i wanted the weapons that are only unlocked when beating Village of Shadows mode and SS rank on all mercenaries. Thats simply too hard for me to do and i wanted to try all the weapons.
Ah, so it works just like re5. Along it isn't a different account the unlocked content is available for all saves so you can use an upgraded weapon with infinite ammo. That's both good to save up on space but the gun will be highly underpowered

I didn't know about any of this and may have screwed myself. I passed the game once and never upgraded any weapon fully except a shotgun that was pretty close but not fully. When I saw the new bonuses section I went in and immediately purchased any new weapon I could with all my CP points, not realizing I could buy infinite ammo below. I then started a new game plus thinking I would have the new guns I just spent all my CP points on but now I know I have to wait to see the merchant the first time an hour or so into the game. Am I pretty much screwed here? I really just want to have at least a shotgun with infinite ammo to play through this new game plus since it seems harder and finding shotgun ammo isn't easy. @@acidicjerk218 when you finish the game there's a last save you can make, the file goes something like "complete", load that file and that's new game plus
Once you spent the CP you cant really refund or take it back so yeah you're screwed but theres some easy challenges for easy CP for infinite. Also you can sell every thing and use the money to upgrade the gun you want for infinite, save on a separate file and unlock infinite ammo with whatever cp you have. Then go to the old file where you DIDNT sell everything
I have a question though. If you do this and then unlock and unlimited ammo for a certain weapon and then you buy it, can you still upgrade your weapon even though it already has infinite ammo? Basically the game unlocks the unlimited ammo because it thinks you already upgraded a certain weapon to the max but in reality once you quit your game without saving, you're not gonna have the upgrades that you got in order to buy the unlimited ammo. Not sure if I'm making much sense dude. Sorry about that. 😅

Oo I should have thought of this, I did similar things like load up to quickly kill bosses once unlimited ammo is unlocked. Ashamed I didn't think of this, thanks for the video! There are some funky things to be found .... like killing Moreau in about 10 seconds without firing a single shot. Heck knows what else.... but using your strat at least I can jump the queue a bit on unlimited ammo for the gunnies 🙏

Can u do this from a save from my 1st playthrough towards the end where I have a lot of Lei, or does it need to be from a consequent save after my 1st completion?
@@CheetahsGuides pretty sure a variation of this worked on 5 as well. I remember upgrading the S&W 500 first, then selling it to upgrade every other weapon one by one. As long as you didn't save, the ammo cheat was unlocked and you could resell it for the next gun.
This is an exploit not a glitch. You can do the same thing for challenges. For example 50 kills with mines.. Kill enemies with mines then restart. It saves the challenges. Easy way to get 300 crafting for sure. Lol
Idk how this is a glitch... you still have to fully upgrade said weapon on atleast one of your save files. The infinite ammo just carries over to other save files regardless of how much you upgraded and customized said weapon...
Just get the infinite ammo full upgraded stake Magnum and then the infinite ammo on the grenade launcher for the like 2 enemies that need to be hit with explosives first and you really don’t need the other guns. Spoilers Edit:infinite Ammo dragoon is worth it for the Chris section and is a pretty good cheap pickup to do a money gathering or cp hunting play though too
I picked this one up first, as you dont have to upgrade then did an extra playthrough on Standard to just earn more challenges and get cash. The dragoon massacres on Standard then I got the STAKE WCX and Grenade Launcher. You need nothing else. These mow down everything. Like everything. I like using the WCX on the cyber guys because it causes stagger faster than the Stake then use Stake on cores to drop em. Cake. Everything else is dome shots with the STAKE, dead.
For the wolfsbane magnum it costs 95000 CP, I already bought the STAKE and I don't remember how much that one was but it was probably a little more considering it's better! :)
See, now Capcom will either patch this "glitch " or make sure the next game will not have this same issue. I sold everything just about to get the infinite hand cannon and I'm fine with that. The infinite grenade launcher and the hand cannon is all I need in this game. I will be getting that rocket hand gun soon, can't wait.
There hasn't been an update so should still work. Make sure you're fully upgrading the gun and make sure it has all attachments, inspect the weapon in your inventory and make sure all the circles on the weapon are filled.
Why? The games fun and its only about 9 hours if you loot everything, if not its even shorter. Its pretty easy on standard. Might as well beat it and save up some lei so you will have money for when you unlock infinite ammo
@@Audon4150 Maybe he sold some weapons to get extra money after the save, so when he loaded it back up he had less money but still had the weapons previously sold.

As long as you quit without saving you should be good. I personally didn't turn autosave off but that's cause I never even thought about it. I would do it just to be safe but it wasn't a problem for me. :)
Question: if you do this and then start a new game+, do you still get the infinite ammo? Do you get infinite ammo for that weapon once you obtain it? How does that work? I want to get infinite ammo for some guns and then start a new game+. Help!
Yeah all of your stuff will carry over into newgame+. Once you finish the game save and then load that completed data and it will let you choose any difficulty. for example I beat it on casual and carried that save over into newgame+ and they let me play on village of shadows difficulty with my casual save. So i have infinite ammo and it's really easy. And yes you get infinite ammo for the gun once you obtain it/buy it from the bonus shop. :)
I personally really really liked the game. I think it's worth getting but you could always wait for a sale but you might have to wait awhile for that. 🙂👍
Its NOT a glitch even if they do an update it wont have any effect on infinite ammo. Just bout every re game has infinite ammo available after beating the game
You're clearly not understanding the point of the video. It's how to unlock the REQUIREMENT to unlock infinite ammo but SAVE YOUR MONEY/Unlock infinite ammo FASTER for every gun rather than doing 5 playthroughs. You upgrade the gun and exit without saving = unlock infinite ammo for the gun but keep your money for other guns or unlock infinite ammo on the other guns. Clearly the video is helpful as 900+ have liked it
Finished the game, bought the dragoon plus the infinite ammo, made sure infinite ammo was on in the options, loaded the completed save...got the weapon from duke....and ran out of ammo. Any idea wat that's about? *Edit Had it in a slot but just now clicked equip from inside inventory......and the symbol appeared. It's infinite now. Not sure if that's a PS5 'thing' or wat.

I'm assuming if you don't have enough Challenge Point currency you can't do all weapons at once. I waited till the game was released on Gold Edition so I only just started playing it on Xbox Series X but it seems not saving only saves your Lei but the CP once spent doesn't get returned just because you don't save.
Not sure what I am doing wrong, I have enough Lei and I have all 3 upgrades, but for my f2 rifle, it's not letting me level up past 3? Kinda confused as to why its not letting me
But you spent 300,000 lei? At the start of the video you had over 900,000 and when you loaded the save after unlocking the infinite ammo you don’t have over 900,000 so what’s the point?
I think you're confused. I'm not glitching my money up, I'm getting the infinite ammo requirement while saving my money. To have infinite ammo on a gun you have to fully upgrade it first so I fully upgrade the gun then quit out without saving so all of my money saves but it still unlocks the requirement in the bonus shop and then I can use that saved money to upgrade something else and get infinite ammo on all weapons rather than doing 10 playthroughs earing money to upgrade things this is a faster way of unlocking infinite ammo. Hopefully that makes sense

It's been awhile since I played so all of this information might not be 100% accurate. To get infinite ammo you just have to finish the game on any difficulty and you will unlock the bonus shop where it can be purchased. For the STAKE you have to buy it from the merchant on Village of Shadows difficulty. For the attachments you have to find some and others can be bought depending on the gun. For the CP you need to do the challenges in the bonus section.
I just fully upgraded the wolfsbane with all parts saved it onto another save and went back to the menu and it wasn’t giving me the option to unlock? Any suggestions
You must me missing one of the attachments. You can check in your inventory if all of the attachments are equiped, if I remember correctly they show up as blue dots.

Interesting know there is such a glich in the new resident evil, still gonna unlock all infinite ammo by upgrading the weapons to the max. the game is soo good that i dont mind playing it a couple more times, going for my 5th run and still hadnt enought of the game. its been years since i played i game so many times in such a short time and still didnt get tired of it

Once you get infinite ammo on the Stake any other weapon is just 'fluff' The Stake massacres everything.

@@carbonm2 It is to some enemies because its extra damage to Lycans (which is just about everything) but the Ammo Capacity, firing rate, and reload time of the STAKE overshadow the wolfsbane by alot. I believe the STAKE holds 28 rounds and you can reload it in under a second. So its slightly less powerful but its DPS is still much higher. The Wolfsbane looks cooler though and thats a shame.

Also, simply spending 5 bucks unlocks everything in CP store including infinite ammo. Gun doesn’t even have to be fully upgraded it’ll still be infinite.
I bought the pack simply because i wanted the weapons that are only unlocked when beating Village of Shadows mode and SS rank on all mercenaries. Thats simply too hard for me to do and i wanted to try all the weapons.
I’m an old man now and dont have the patience i used to have for playing extremely difficult games/modes.

Ah, so it works just like re5. Along it isn't a different account the unlocked content is available for all saves so you can use an upgraded weapon with infinite ammo. That's both good to save up on space but the gun will be highly underpowered

I am doing this since I am completing 100% for both PC and PS5.
I didn't know about any of this and may have screwed myself. I passed the game once and never upgraded any weapon fully except a shotgun that was pretty close but not fully. When I saw the new bonuses section I went in and immediately purchased any new weapon I could with all my CP points, not realizing I could buy infinite ammo below. I then started a new game plus thinking I would have the new guns I just spent all my CP points on but now I know I have to wait to see the merchant the first time an hour or so into the game. Am I pretty much screwed here? I really just want to have at least a shotgun with infinite ammo to play through this new game plus since it seems harder and finding shotgun ammo isn't easy. Any thoughts? Thanks and please 😊
Do you have a save before you finished the game? If so load that save and start a newgame+ with it and your weapons will carry over.
Also if you need CP, check the challenges menu, they give you lots of CP for doing the mercenaries and certain challenges :)

@@acidicjerk218 when you finish the game there's a last save you can make, the file goes something like "complete", load that file and that's new game plus
Once you spent the CP you cant really refund or take it back so yeah you're screwed but theres some easy challenges for easy CP for infinite. Also you can sell every thing and use the money to upgrade the gun you want for infinite, save on a separate file and unlock infinite ammo with whatever cp you have. Then go to the old file where you DIDNT sell everything

I have a question though. If you do this and then unlock and unlimited ammo for a certain weapon and then you buy it, can you still upgrade your weapon even though it already has infinite ammo? Basically the game unlocks the unlimited ammo because it thinks you already upgraded a certain weapon to the max but in reality once you quit your game without saving, you're not gonna have the upgrades that you got in order to buy the unlimited ammo. Not sure if I'm making much sense dude. Sorry about that. 😅

There are some funky things to be found .... like killing Moreau in about 10 seconds without firing a single shot. Heck knows what else.... but using your strat at least I can jump the queue a bit on unlimited ammo for the gunnies 🙏

@@CheetahsGuides pretty sure a variation of this worked on 5 as well. I remember upgrading the S&W 500 first, then selling it to upgrade every other weapon one by one. As long as you didn't save, the ammo cheat was unlocked and you could resell it for the next gun.
This is an exploit not a glitch. You can do the same thing for challenges. For example 50 kills with mines.. Kill enemies with mines then restart. It saves the challenges. Easy way to get 300 crafting for sure. Lol

Idk how this is a glitch... you still have to fully upgrade said weapon on atleast one of your save files. The infinite ammo just carries over to other save files regardless of how much you upgraded and customized said weapon...

Just get the infinite ammo full upgraded stake Magnum and then the infinite ammo on the grenade launcher for the like 2 enemies that need to be hit with explosives first and you really don’t need the other guns. Spoilers
Edit:infinite Ammo dragoon is worth it for the Chris section and is a pretty good cheap pickup to do a money gathering or cp hunting play though too
I picked this one up first, as you dont have to upgrade then did an extra playthrough on Standard to just earn more challenges and get cash. The dragoon massacres on Standard then I got the STAKE WCX and Grenade Launcher. You need nothing else. These mow down everything. Like everything. I like using the WCX on the cyber guys because it causes stagger faster than the Stake then use Stake on cores to drop em. Cake. Everything else is dome shots with the STAKE, dead.

not sure if i did it wrong, but when i loaded up my save file i did get the infinite ammo but i didn’t get the upgrades in the gunsmith
You don't keep the upgrades but you unlock the infinite ammo.

For the wolfsbane magnum it costs 95000 CP, I already bought the STAKE and I don't remember how much that one was but it was probably a little more considering it's better! :)

See, now Capcom will either patch this "glitch " or make sure the next game will not have this same issue. I sold everything just about to get the infinite hand cannon and I'm fine with that. The infinite grenade launcher and the hand cannon is all I need in this game. I will be getting that rocket hand gun soon, can't wait.

There hasn't been an update so should still work. Make sure you're fully upgrading the gun and make sure it has all attachments, inspect the weapon in your inventory and make sure all the circles on the weapon are filled.

Why? The games fun and its only about 9 hours if you loot everything, if not its even shorter. Its pretty easy on standard. Might as well beat it and save up some lei so you will have money for when you unlock infinite ammo
When you come back on your save, you had less money than before.
It works trust. Just test it for yourself man. The video has over 100k views, if it didn't work it would've been removed by now.

Sooo, say I load in my recent save and I sell all my guns to upgrade one all the way, as long as I quit out before I save then I'm Gucci right? Did you turn off autosave?
As long as you quit without saving you should be good. I personally didn't turn autosave off but that's cause I never even thought about it. I would do it just to be safe but it wasn't a problem for me. :)

Yeah all of your stuff will carry over into newgame+. Once you finish the game save and then load that completed data and it will let you choose any difficulty. for example I beat it on casual and carried that save over into newgame+ and they let me play on village of shadows difficulty with my casual save. So i have infinite ammo and it's really easy. And yes you get infinite ammo for the gun once you obtain it/buy it from the bonus shop. :)

Worth it to me and I am not a huge gamer. RE4 and RE8 are now two of my favorite video games.
Its NOT a glitch even if they do an update it wont have any effect on infinite ammo. Just bout every re game has infinite ammo available after beating the game
You're clearly not understanding the point of the video.
It's how to unlock the REQUIREMENT to unlock infinite ammo but SAVE YOUR MONEY/Unlock infinite ammo FASTER for every gun rather than doing 5 playthroughs. You upgrade the gun and exit without saving = unlock infinite ammo for the gun but keep your money for other guns or unlock infinite ammo on the other guns.
Clearly the video is helpful as 900+ have liked it

Finished the game, bought the dragoon plus the infinite ammo, made sure infinite ammo was on in the options, loaded the completed save...got the weapon from duke....and ran out of ammo. Any idea wat that's about?
*Edit Had it in a slot but just now clicked equip from inside inventory......and the symbol appeared. It's infinite now. Not sure if that's a PS5 'thing' or wat.

I'm assuming if you don't have enough Challenge Point currency you can't do all weapons at once. I waited till the game was released on Gold Edition so I only just started playing it on Xbox Series X but it seems not saving only saves your Lei but the CP once spent doesn't get returned just because you don't save.

I think you're confused. I'm not glitching my money up, I'm getting the infinite ammo requirement while saving my money. To have infinite ammo on a gun you have to fully upgrade it first so I fully upgrade the gun then quit out without saving so all of my money saves but it still unlocks the requirement in the bonus shop and then I can use that saved money to upgrade something else and get infinite ammo on all weapons rather than doing 10 playthroughs earing money to upgrade things this is a faster way of unlocking infinite ammo. Hopefully that makes sense

It's been awhile since I played so all of this information might not be 100% accurate. To get infinite ammo you just have to finish the game on any difficulty and you will unlock the bonus shop where it can be purchased.
For the STAKE you have to buy it from the merchant on Village of Shadows difficulty.
For the attachments you have to find some and others can be bought depending on the gun.
For the CP you need to do the challenges in the bonus section.

You must me missing one of the attachments. You can check in your inventory if all of the attachments are equiped, if I remember correctly they show up as blue dots.
