Pro er tip u can wash a electronics as long as there is no power still circulating the board. motherboard cpus and graphics cards as well maybe not fans so much... bearings etc.
Pretty Baller Retro System, but i think your cat is the most excited to feel the heat coming out of the top of the case, deffinately a bargain despite the dust bunny infestation.
Loved the intro. As someone who used to mess with dirty old pcs like that and developed lung issues afterward,PLEASE wear a mask with those dust buckets.
from my observation that dust is from a carpet, nicotine and sitting in storage for almost 5-6 years if it was used the entire time that's nasty, I'd replace the case it's garbage haha. computer its self is ight. thing I do is clean my computer every month or two with a microfiber cloth. everyone should do that haha.
I am not 100% sure, but i think the heatsinks of the CPU cooler were bent @ 20:40 and maybe the termal paste was messed while repositioning the cooler. Maybe the GPU needed repaste too, but from the initial condition to this it is fairly impressive
just wash the parts you can, soapy water gets the dust right away Use isopropyl alcohol with toilet paper to clean everything else Another good skill is to learn to fully disassemble and oil old case fans, makes them clean fresh and silent again (keep track of the order all the inner plastic rings and rubber gaskets go back in and use synthetic oil) Get a paint brush instead of toothbrush to get the dust off the parts Your cable management on the back is something else as well (redo it for the love of God) Did you screw the cpu cooler correctly? 80 degrees is quite a lot, gpu also could use a repaste, its old and needs every bit of cooling there is
Awesome video! just a few tips. Wear gloves, use alcohol to clean, clean outside, dont use a vacuum cleaner on electronics, and DONT take apart power supplies IT WILL KILL YOU.
14.55 there isnt a limited amount of times you can take a cpu out of a socket. just with intel, the pins are in the socket so chance of damaging it is higher the more you do it
This is the best video intro EVER, btw guys, i got a 2011 era gaming pc around, fully built, got a i5 2500k and a gtx 560 ti and 128gb ssd and 16gb ram, should i upgrade it??
How does a pc get this dusty,I literally clean my pc everytime it starts to get a little bit of dust and I change the thermal paste on my cpu and gpu every 2 to 3 years
yo you starting to take your psu (power supply) apart had me nervous as fuck Capacitors that are inside of that can hold charge for a very long time Even if you haven't plugged it in for a little while it can still have a charge and that charge is enough to potentially not only hurt quite a bit but kill you so yeah I'll just be careful. The really dangerous part of them would would be on the backside of the board that's inside of it that's where all the traces are that connect to those capacitors but still playing with the fan just be careful lol. Also if you ever get another pc that's that dirty you can quite literally just fill up a tub of water and soap and take that and put the electronics into it and brush it with your toothbrush you just have to really make sure that it's dry before you turn it on I know it seems obvious but it won't necessarily break it you want to take anything that has electricity running through it so make sure you take the rtc battery off the motherboard. Most of this information that I just spewed really I learned from Linus Tech tips here's the video th-cam.com/video/jNm2g4Tkf3E/w-d-xo.htmlsi=LMQMrsSqOkt8DzyC
you should save ALL abandoned pcs (no matter the specs or parts, even if its a oem), see what works see what doesn't, salvage the parts and test (use junkier pcs for testing various things though) Would make for good projects, parts and of use.
great video but it really seems like you mounted the CPU heatsink wrong because the temps are fluctuating which isn't normal with a tower cooler. i suspect theres improper contact and a big heatsink on a CPU like that should at most be in the low 70s
For a 67$ this is awesome, i 7600k still can push it, not surprised because mine 2700k is still somehow going in secondary machine paired with RX 580. 6:27 - I truly hope you dusted of that outside :)
BROOOO why is the intro actually so FIRE bro
Actually why is it.
Pro tip: You can actually wash the cpu cooler in a sink, it doesn't have any electronics in it.
Only heatsink*
Pro er tip u can wash a electronics as long as there is no power still circulating the board. motherboard cpus and graphics cards as well maybe not fans so much... bearings etc.
I was about to comment that.
For anyone who's wondering do not do this
@@lilkill5151 I do it all the time.
By the way, the previous owner was FOR SURE a heavy smoker. That gunk causing all the dust to clump up behind the fans is tar, no doubt about it.
your intro's are and always will be a fever dream. i love it!
His cat must’ve been hairless because all of it fell off into the PC!
Him not using gloves or sum while disassembling this is killing me 💀
He's not made of sugar
This intro woulda won best in every category at the Emmy awards.
Subbed.
I'm getting mad Druaga1 vibes. Awesome dude, keep it up.
that genuinely spooked me. I had to look it up and I remember watching one of his videos years back as a kid. The resemblance is uncanny
@@swazzy78 What are the specs

You're pretty funny, man. I dig the deadpan speaking and your editing out of pauses makes the whole thing sound like one big run-on sentence. 👍
the proud of being polish part of me went nuts when it saw that spc logo

fire intro, underrated af
Throw some holy 70% isopropyl alcohol at that PC and let it sit outside a few days lol.

This channel is gold! Glad I found it!
Those temps…😂
What were the temps with the side panel off?
Didn’t test it. though I did play with the coolers placement and it was a little better
Pretty Baller Retro System, but i think your cat is the most excited to feel the heat coming out of the top of the case, deffinately a bargain despite the dust bunny infestation.

Always nice to see some old tech given a makeover
Cat, cleaning, jokes and that intro. I feel like I’ve struck gold with this channel. 😊

My name is Gustavo, but you can call me Gus 🥶
Crazy that Rick went with you to pick it up. Rick and Walt have beef together. They rapped about it.
A million dollar intro
''Mr.White You Just Lost All My Bittcoin Yo IS My All Bitcoin Yo''

From the intro alone you got a new sub
I love your intros man 🙏

your video raised my anxziety levels
This deserve more view!
Just a tip pn removing the gpu cable, use the second pad of your thumb instead of the tip. I think its a leverage thing
just wash the parts you can, soapy water gets the dust right away

Did you screw the cpu cooler correctly? 80 degrees is quite a lot, gpu also could use a repaste, its old and needs every bit of cooling there is
absolutely filthy! it would take me a whole day to tear down, clean and reassemble. if everything worked, it would make a great system.
Awesome video! just a few tips. Wear gloves, use alcohol to clean, clean outside, dont use a vacuum cleaner on electronics, and DONT take apart power supplies IT WILL KILL YOU.
The intros are peak cinema
i traded a i7 4770K z97 rog 16gb (+8gb from me) pc, and i washed the motherboard and the cpu cooler, and it is going well for sure
As far as I'm concerned, any game on a pc looks better than a console game.
paint brush could have worked in cleaning
Subscribed just from the god tier creative intro.
Now imagine him taking a can of air or smth to it
Why isnt this guy in the stand up business?
i think you need to buy an air blower its very useful for removing dust, btw the assistant is so cute😂
Aww, missed the mark by 2$ for a reeally NICE prize....
why is linus tech tips getting all the subs when they cant put effort like dis guy
Praying for your lung health with all the dust thrown into your room's air while dealing with this bio hazard
14.55 there isnt a limited amount of times you can take a cpu out of a socket. just with intel, the pins are in the socket so chance of damaging it is higher the more you do it
weird. i could’ve sworn someone said that at one point
quite possibly the greatest intro ever made
also you should definitely look into getting an air compressor sometime
22:29 "tsdsdt has these thingies"
About the cpu temps.
They MAY BE correct, but i would go into the bios, and i would check the cpu cooler settings.
You just might left 'em on stock.
Some Ishowspeed luck over here went from having his friends watching him to half a state
INTRO WAS FIRE
we need more intros like this man !! hahahaha
Such a great vid so underrated
This is the best video intro EVER, btw guys, i got a 2011 era gaming pc around, fully built, got a i5 2500k and a gtx 560 ti and 128gb ssd and 16gb ram, should i upgrade it??
thanks a lot! maybe a bigger ssd and 970-1060 6gb? cards like that as long as u get them cheap enough
smoke residue from nicotine is a yellow colour, that dust is black it cant be nicotine residue
This was fire bro, if you were cooking any better I'd call you Heisenburg
You can probably get high from the dust in that PC xD
This pc needed washing and not that superficial cleaning job....
Banger intro as always
If it doesn't smell strongly of smoke, there is no chance that it's tar from smoke.
nice Liam and Satan reference xD
Bro if you actually just made videos like the intro. This channel would take off like a rocket. That shits 🔥🔥🔥🔥.
For a sencond i thought i had my huapangos playing in the background, love the music lol
liked for the cat
How does a pc get this dusty,I literally clean my pc everytime it starts to get a little bit of dust and I change the thermal paste on my cpu and gpu every 2 to 3 years
I didn't realize bro had no fear. 😂
love ur video, but man ur area of choice for clean up those pc parts. at least weak a mask as well as use glove. keep it up!
garfield man u should left that cooler off untill you housed the mb into the case because the 4 pin psu connector
Why you don't use a vacuum cleaner and later some water to clean the parts? It would be much cleaner and easier.
yo you starting to take your psu (power supply) apart had me nervous as fuck Capacitors that are inside of that can hold charge for a very long time Even if you haven't plugged it in for a little while it can still have a charge and that charge is enough to potentially not only hurt quite a bit but kill you so yeah I'll just be careful. This PC isn't cleaned up, it's less dirty man!
Please keep making intros like this
i cant believe some people let there computers get that bad! im shocked nothing wasnt living in that muck
Keep the setup as is that is kinda a cool case
So underrated
Damn that was epic!
you should save ALL abandoned pcs (no matter the specs or parts, even if its a oem), see what works see what doesn't, salvage the parts and test (use junkier pcs for testing various things though) Would make for good projects, parts and of use.
This guy sounds like FutureCanoe
great video but it really seems like you mounted the CPU heatsink wrong because the temps are fluctuating which isn't normal with a tower cooler. i suspect theres improper contact and a big heatsink on a CPU like that should at most be in the low 70s
U probably killed a small civilization by cleaning this pc 😢
Intro is fire🔥
Watching this gave me lung ccancer
For a 67$ this is awesome, i 7600k still can push it, not surprised because mine 2700k is still somehow going in secondary machine paired with RX 580.
