  • Part 2 of my amazing fruit tour in Cains. Dozens of Garcinia varieties (my favourite genus) as well as countless extremely rare species from all over the globe.
    I left thinking this Parkland is probably one of the best fruit parks in the whole world especially considering it's free to the public. It's a pity I did not come prepared to film it properly and spend more time focusing on all the fruit that was available. I was simply too overwhelmed to take it all in. I'll try be better prepared next fruit hunt :) Thanks for watching.

      I think you maybe right. There were a few different varieties of Breadfruit around the park.

    Did he say what the newly planted garcinia next to the Kepler was. You didn’t show it in the video

    What happened to your Garcinia prainiana? The video cut off when you were going to talk about it not surviving. Did it die from cold weather?

      The graft was not very big/thick and it slowly died. Possibly too small to transport. Garcinia's are very tricky, some are quite hardy others just randomly decide to die while the neighbouring plant thrives. I really cant tell you exact reasons other then rats ate a few, others just slowly passed away.
