That toadstool strategy is actually really good.
Waiting for a Wanda + Maxwell run, the cage paired with the extra range makes lots of bosses a complete joke.

The new Maxwell is super good. The amount of cheese you can pull off with the prison is endless, and his utility is even better than before.
So 2 Maxwell tips
1) Try fighting Twins on Lunar Island. The fissures help with light, but the main thing is no longer needing to worry about sanity, so just bring a ton of nightmare fuel and spam cages.
2) The best way to get DPS as Maxwell is to have a fully tamed Ornery Beefalo with a war saddle, along with all 3 Ancient Fuelweaver drops, making the duelists deal 60 damage, along with your beefalo's 66
Maxwell is such a fun character to play as now! I like the rework because now you don't have to waste a bunch of time crafting the individual servants :]
Also I really like just casting a servant and it does all the boring gathering work for me.

I always thought Maxwell was a fun character, and the rework just made he so much more fun! Great stuff as usual.
Wow this video just made me realize why the "prestihatitator" requires rabbits and a top hat, because its a basic introduction to "magic." I literally never thought twice about it all these years of DS.

Maxwell is so cool now. I'm glad they revamped his entire kit and gave him combat abilities so that he isn't just stuck in that role of "go chop wood"

I think that Maxwell's deal with Charlie is the source of his gameplay rework. It makes him more useful in the whole groups survival and I like to think that was his motive for the deal.
Absolutely love all the new stuff we've gotten for Maxwell, his rework is so much fun, his playstyle his way more intuitive and enjoyable, his lore has been expanded even more, and it was already the best, on top of that we've gotten two new awesome skins, as a Maxwell main I couldn't be happier, so cool to see you showing off his awesome potential!

Maxwell Gaming Tips
1. Twiggy trees OVERPOWERED for Maxwell, collect seeds and wait for them to grow fully, then send out some servants for tons of twigs and logs.
2. Maxwell + Old Wanda = Easy dfly Spam prison whilst wanda stays out of range.
3. Im out of ideas.
(I didn't include Wilson because techicnally he did a Wilson run in the expert guide)
