Greg and Sara definitely recommend it, it's a stunning place! If you can, stay on the opposite side of the river to Hampi itself , it's so peaceful and the boat back across is rs10 which is definitely worth it for the peace and quiet!
This was a beautiful video! Really an artwork in itself. Feeling so inspired from this 🙂 I definitely have so much to learn to continue improving my vlogs
Francis Cade sorry bro..its actually many artifacts, statues, etc got stolen during Invasion times..so therefore there are many temples in India that doesnt allow Non-Hindus to enter..they were cheated whn Outsiders where shown temples but instead of understanding the spiritual thing they got attracted toeards materialostic things like wealth etc..(this is just in few places not everywhere in India) ..GOA was invaded by Portugese..thats why..well ISLAMIC INVASION,BRITISH,FRENCH,PORTUGESE all attacked..so u know..please dont mind..its not everywhere in INDIA just few places
India gets very hot in summer that is april to august (mid) and upto september mid in some parts so i would suggest you foreigners to come around november mid so that you can enjoy travel in mild winter...
oh man! We were debating going to hampi from goa, but just got too chill in goa and enjoyed the beaches - wish we'd gone looks absolutely stunning! SO QUIET!! Got to get there if i go again :) bike looks so fun to cruise on. Audio is fine, it only sounds bad in comparison
Haha, oh nice! Got the worst sun burn there, we actually forgot our suncream for that part of the trip and it was where we saw the most sun! oops! Look forward to the vlogs, they're great btw!
Just seen your travelling videos (only seen the recent london bike related ones) and this brings back memories of when I was there 20 years ago (about this time as well! Flew out 17th Jan had 2 weeks in Goa then Hampi and headed back out to Gokarna). It looks really busy the other side of the river to the temples. When I was there, it only had 1 or 2 guesthouses (one was run by a guy called 'Beema'). Went on a trek up to the reservoir and there was a dead body in one corner of it that no local would talk about at all and got really agitated. Later found out it was a guy who had upset the local mafia. I remember a group of us doing bhang lassis and heading up to the rocks at the other end of the arcade to watch the sunset (Mathanga Hill). Gonna have to have a dig through my journals and photos now!
Audio just on the internal mic isn't great to be honest. Fine for if it's just the camera operator talking, but when Amy talks it's harder to hear. Love your work as always though :)
Few people call you boring, Few people call you filthy.. What do these people know about Hampi, The Crown Jewel of Ancient India, It was rich and beautiful beyond your wildest imagination where Ancient Indian merchants sold Diamonds and Gold (Not spices) in Heaps on the street side to European Traders. But in few decades, It was ransacked by Bahmani Shahi Islamic Kings and disappeared forever in History.. Now travelers to this place think it had always been like this.. An Abandoned wasteland where nothing interesting happens. See Hampi with the eyes of your Imagination and you will see a Humble Ancient Indian Empire at its peak, Temples laden with Gold, Streets smelling of spices, Beautiful Palaces and Happy and Content people that had no desire to invade others or impose their belief on others.. Alas, Travelers will never see this, They will see only dirt, desert, ruins and disease, Who can blame them for what it looks like today.. Hampi, The tale of a Tragedy !!!
HAMPI aka the mighty Vijayanagara..second largest medieval city in the world, one of the richest in 16th century... destroyed by muslim kings..it burned for 6 months..:(..what you see is just ruins now..
Hampi is on our list for India this year - thanks for giving a sneak peak!
+Greg and Sara definitely visit, stay the other side of the river to hampi, much quieter and very authentic

Michael Maclean I agree! External mic back on. It's a shame, because the mic is so cumbersome. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Is license required to drive these?
It's India, nothing is required to do anything
@@Cade_Media Being an Indian myself I couldn't agree more. 😂

Without the mic its not so clear. If you keep the camera close to you then it wont be so bad
Kim Dhami yeah, it definitely struggled when the source was a few steps away
Which accent is that?
How might she clean her nose?
