- My visit to Inglewood Park Cemetery, located in the heart of, well, Inglewood California. In this cemetery are many prominent African Americans such as Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Buckwheat, as well as many other famous people such as Robert Kardashian. Huge grounds to cover and it was tough to see as many as I wanted to but I think it was a success. Except for the Canadian geese. Geese...why did it have to be geese?

I met Ray bout couple years before he died. Spent time talkin to him at sound check . I worked 11years in the " professional" entertainment business and HE WAS THE MOST AWESOME PERSON I MET

I remember that cemetery, my grandfather and great-grandparents are buried there
@8:46 Error on grave-stone...he did not serve WWII, Thomas enlisted in the United States Army in 1954 at the age of 23, and was released from active military service in 1956 decorated with a National Defense Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal. Having been 14 when WWII ended in 1945, 9 years before he actually joined the military, it is uncertain why his grave marker says "Reg US Army, World War II".

Also in the mausoleum of the Golden west is the urn of Cesar Romero in the alcove of music. You actually passed it when you were leaving Ray Charles' grave on your way back outside.

Also in the Golden West you'll find the cremains container of Cesar Romero ( Batman's The Joker ) in the shape of a lyre and the crypt of Betty Grable. Grable was the actress and pin up girl of World War 2 with the Million Dollar Legs.

myop it is stupid to have a ashes housing where the ashes r home more than 6 feet off the ground/floor
I am not 6 ft tall but there r slots for the dead way above the 6 foot level.
there should be a by law that mandtes the dead ashes can not be located above 6 feet from a standing floor. add a walk way to the upper ashes' graves'/homes
