Great vehicle and extremely well priced (just checked on your website) love the red interior and red body with the black wheels. Am sure you won’t have it in stock for long! Take care
I've been looking at the sport for a couple of years now but been put off by the so called reliability issues and the mpg i ended up with an X5 but I'd still love one i do prefer the face lift 18 onwards, great vid as usual 👍
Liam - I've just bought a sport. I think with good maintenance and over servicing as mentioned in the video these cars are pretty strong. Its those that get into the wrong hands and try to run on a shoe string I believe are those that have most problems. MPG wise, my commute is 44 miles daily and comfortably achieving 34mpg without even trying. X5 is a great car too.
It’s never a video about a RR if the comment section isn’t littered with “totally unreliable” or “money pit” mostly from people who haven’t actually owned one. Just parroting what they have seen or heard. Do Range Rovers have issues, of course they do. Do other premium marques have issues? Of course they do. I’ve had an L494 SDV8 Autobiography for 6 months now. Had a few little issues, oil cooler gaskets were weeping. Both handbrake actuators were cracked and causing fault codes. Fixed myself for under £300. The suspension wouldn’t go into access mode at first, took the silencer off the compressor and cleaned it and hey pesto the suspension was working as it should. Also had no heated or cooled driver seat. Unbolted it and flipped the seat back and the heated seat module was unplugged. Not everything needing fixed on a Range Rover is a budget breaking event. 🤷🏻♂️ As with all my previous cars I will service it every 5-6000 miles to help maintain the engine. Manufacturer service intervals are always pushing the limit to make cars seem more appealing keeping servicing costs down. My wife’s uncle has an SDV6 and he had quite a few issues but he swears by them. When the engine went in it he went and bought a 20 plate SVR.
Had one D300 MHEV for 2 years and 40k miles with no problems. Previously a LR Defender D250 HSE and a Jaguar F Pace 3.0 V6d with no significant problems. Range Rover Sport is a great do it all car and very comfortable. Had more problems with BMWs and Volvos prior but still good cars and all marks have issues.
@@mrgt3201 a long list…really? 😂 Curious as to why corrosion on a brake caliper swelling and cracking a plastic handbrake actuator, leaking gaskets (you do realise rubber becomes hard when constantly heated and cooled over time) or someone unplugging a connector can be classed as unreliable. 🤦🏻 Can you also explain why silica dust from the descant beads in the compressor clogging the silencer filter is classed also as unreliable? 😂 Give your head a wobble fella.
I sold mine in January due to my traders policy excluding Range Rovers. I was gutted and thought I’d regret selling it. Fast forward 5 months and I wouldn’t have a JLR car given now. Unreliable manufacturer doesn’t give a toss about theft as it actually helps them sell cars to customers who had theirs stolen. You’d be surprised at the % or sales which replace a stolen vehicle. I think anybody that buys one now is mad. And yes I loved mine.
Seriously considering a 50 v8 petrol not svr. 2016 90k Miles @£22k thoughts? Run a mile or good buy? What's putting me off the most they have a bad reputation but is this also 5.0 v8 as there less common
It’s of course different for each individual car but on the whole they’re great engines 👍 if it’s got a decent history and doesn’t smoke from start up, you’re off to a good start! I’ve had a couple of the 5.0 V8 SC and they’re phenomenal cars 😎
It’s genuinely a shame if that’s been your experience, but it hasn’t been mine 👍 as I say, I took mine over through Europe with 167k miles on it, didn’t miss a beat in the 2400 miles I did in the week of hard miles 👍
People who say it’s unreliable say that because they don’t take care of their vehicles at all and never do an oil change every 5,000 miles. Stick to riding your scooter! 😂
@@condorprestigevehicles y s unfortunately my experience wasn’t great, there’s good and bad to all makes, but you get a different view when it’s a personal experience sadly

Thanks Liam 😎 the X5’s are great cars! I’d definitely suggest driving an L494 though, they’re a very strong contender!

Save yourself heart ache unless you got a bottomless pit of money and another car for when it’s back in garage, that’s from experience
Could not agree more mate. I've just bought a 2016 RRS HSE with 49k miles from main dealer. What an absolute bargain they are at the moment!
Absolutely 😎 enjoy your epic RRS!

You've basically said that yours has been very unreliable. That's a long list of faults.

@@mrgt3201 no, genuinely curious how you can class normal wear and tear or human intervention as unreliable fella.
I can't get insured on a RR where I live...

Hi …… a Range Rover with red on red???
I suppose you could call it a period piece!!!!!
Sorry about that…….
But I just couldn’t resist!!!!

Love the new intro

You should put a link to your business for people to browse?
Website should now be in the links 😎 thanks for your suggestion!
nice car but keep your hands on the wheel please
Red is the colour of madness 😂
Lovely cars but insurance and maintenance puts me off
These old shape models have started to look very dated and plasticky now. You can buy the early ones in that shape for hardly any money in 2024
For today standards this car has no tech what so ever. Just old car with high bills to pay to keep it running.
Really boring 5 min vid made long . Do like your vids but this one mate . To much going on 😢
Reminds me of a dressed up beautiful women good to look at and spend loads of money on and get nothing in return but loads of trouble. A tip KEEP AWAY
