I hope you two are getting a lot of young viewers because the both of you are setting a great example of what can be accomplished by working together. All of this while raising children, living in an RV, and taking care of the farm, especially while Josh is working full time. From another retired construction worker from Wild and Wonderful !!
...even when she's sick that girl WORKS her butt off....y'all make a GREAT team...not just your construction endeavors... but you'alls family and farm/homestead as well... BRAVO as usual..☮️&❤️... anticipating watching the next project/adventure...!
My wife and I love your videos and are so inspired. I’m military stationed overseas, but we are from northern VA right close to WVA, we certainly miss home, so we enjoy watching your videos and seeing the mountains we used to see out our back yard. We hope to get a plot of land like you guys when we get back stateside and have a little piece of heaven!
Josh and Erin: Great job, guys! As a retired architect, I really enjoy these build vids (makes me feel like I'm still in the game!). Feel better Erin! Peace!
You guys are awesome I know a lot of people have said it but you remind me of my wife and I many years ago I just wish your videos were longer but I totally understand you both have a lot on your plate right now. Stay blessed and keep up the good work !!!!
Very smart using a metallic conduit sweep and riser ! That is where most conduits fail !! When uncoiling cable you are better off placing a piece of rebar through the center and making some kind of holder so the spool is horizontal, not vertical. The wire unwinds with no twist/kinks ! Good job on the vapor barrier and foam under your slab. It makes a big difference with radiant heat !
Hello from the Bahamas. This is my husband and I first time watching, we spent the whole of 1 and 2 July watching all of the others to catch up. we enjoy them all. love you guys. we want to see it to the end. we love the smart remarks and how you both get alone. we laughed and smiled at all of them. we loved the "Little Ricky" one the most.
I always look forward to your videos !! Erin you're a real trooper working your tail off and being under the weather !! The hardest working couple on YT !!
Fantastic family, that works together, stays together! A pleasure to watch your videos, take care of yourselves, especially during these difficult times. Cheers, Sean
Josh you may have been pressed for time but when you know what your doing it ain't no step for stepper like you and Erin. Enjoy watching y'all build thanks!
Great build, great humor, great work ethic! If it is in your budget, think about buying a portable inflatable hot tub to relax in after productive days like you two always put in. Salut! Have a great 4th!
Hope you all didn’t miss Church on Sunday. You know the kids need that early in life guidance, please. Thanks for the up date. I see the beard is still in the go!
Looks like good progress is being made (weather can be frustrating at times) your hard work shows your dedication. The rooster reminds me of visiting my Grand Parents when I was very young ... very good memories ... as you are building yours as well. You have picture perfect scenery, my Grand Parents lived on a high bluff that directly overlooked the Minnesota River valley below. Your trail reminds me of walks to look for missing cows through their pasture that had many trees where a creek ran through. The butterfly in the opening scene seemed appropriate and Ted Williams in his book "Animal Speak Pocket Guide gives shamanic meaning to their presence, you'll have to get the book for the full description but the last sentence is "Embrace the new beginnings".
I've been enjoying your videos this past few weeks. I'm new to your TH-cam channel but like it very much. I've been learning a lot watching you both working on the house and the surrounding buildings, thanks for sharing with us.
Yeah!!!! First thing I look for in the morning is your You Tube. The package was sooooo hilarious!!!! LOL! Good job on the t-shirts. Wow! I love watching this transition of the project. That old man dog sitting there watching the job is pretty funny. I'm from Arizona and am taking general contractor classes, but it is interesting to see how you lay out the floor to keep the shed warm. I am sure the construction is different back east due to freezing weather. I plan on moving back east like NC. I am sick of the Phoenix heat. I call it "Valley of Hell." Perfect day for me to watch this video before I take off to camp up north for 5 days. I'm sure I will see another clip before I get back. Thumb up, you guys. Humors really add up the excitement in the video. :)
awesome to watch your family build your life together. I hope you have a long fruitful life and enjoy your little ones. As you know they grow up soooo fast.
Good Luck Scott & Family, I wish I was young enough to start a project like that!! I should have gone into the construction and finish work( I did for about 2 yrs @ 16-18) ) but I became a Professional Executive Chef instead. Still hard work, but Hindsight's 20-/20. Take Videos!!!
So cool. You guys are really working your dream and you work well together. Just a thought, I have a feeling many of those trees are going to end up dying out because the roots were roughed up pretty bad. I could be wrong, but I know it happened to ours around our house. To bad you couldn't get the chicken brooder floor laid, but all things will get finished eventually. Blessings to your family.
Just wanna say; Really enjoy the channel, this episode was excellent. BGO (blazing glimpse of the obvious) Erin; You Rock! Great Mom, Partner and look GOOD carrying a chain saw :) .. Josh, You are a Good Dude! You work hard, Great example for your boys and love your girls to the max. Together you are unstoppable. Just keep moving forward.
Great job! You guys are like my hubby and me when we were younger, there was nothing we couldn't conquer when working together as a TEAM! Erin - I hope you start to feel better, you can't get sick - who's going to take care of the Hostess Dude! Love you guys feel better and G i d Bless
Looks good guys.. I’m actually impressed that “ sparky “is so well versed in all phases of construction even if he is left handed LOL.. looking forward to your next video
So sorry you're sick Erin. Wouldn't you know it would come on just when you all were making this push while Josh is available for weekdays and y'all can get so much done. But, we women, we push through it! Take care of yourself. You have a beautiful family you're caring for. Great job on the trenching and piping and back filling and slab laying. That was four normal work days that you compacted into three and I know you both are tired. Take a break, get some rest, and enjoy the holiday.
I love watching you guys work. I am learning so much and I felt pretty comfortable taking care of things around the house. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. If I was younger and not retired I definitely would be attempting an off-grid build
just found your channel and subscribed, love your videos! Blessings from your neighbor down here in Tennessee. Happy 4th of July and God bless America!
Glad you took a break when you did..... I was getting really tired. I'm starting to believe there is nothing you guys can't accomplish. Can't wait to see all these systems up and running. This winter should be interesting. Sure has been very interesting to date. Keep up the good work. My favorite sub!
Once again you nailed it , 3days hard slog , , even little debbie gave a hand today , cakes for you tonight josh . Erin sounding a bit hoarse in throat there . Rest up over the weekend guys , youve both done enough for this week . Feet up rest and recouperation . . Amazing .
Hey guys, I have watched all your videos now and I just want to say, great job. Me and my wife are looking at doing something like this and watching you guys has been a great help. Keep doing a great job and get some rest, Happy 4th💥. Josh don’t eat too many Little Debbie’s.
Wonderful work. Seems that you two can do just about anything. Sorry your sick Erin. I've been dealing with it as well for the past 5 days. Hoping I didn't pass it along through last week's comment section .
I've been following y'all for several months now and I know about A lot of stuff but Josh really amazes me, he's an extremely knowledgeable individual. I need to go back and review your solar setup, that's what I'm trying to study and learn about right now.
It's really amazing what you're building and creating there, congratulations! You're working very hard and you're very brave in chasing your dreams! best regards from Poland 😊
That was a lot to get done guys luckily the kids were a big help...have a rest it's well earned...Erin cut some onions in half put them in the RV you would probably only need 2, you will get better faster and hopefully stop anyone else from getting sick they are also good to get rid of paint fumes for future reference...have a great weeks guys...😊
Good work, both of you (and kiddos, too)! And, girl, take care of yourself! I know this is a big week, but, don't overdo it, y'hear!? :-) Josh, you're rockin' the Little Debbie look.
Erin i can commiserate with pouring sick. I once poured a 12 yard driveway sick as a dog and none of my help showed. The only thing that saved me was a wise old driver and a good Concrete Vibrator. The couple i built it for were having trouble with slipping on ice in winter so they wanted the pour rough...and that's what they got :) They were very happy with the result and i was amazed that i managed to finish it before i lost the pour :) Sick and no help is not the way to do concrete.
I’ve watched Josh as a craftsman and he is amazing. I’ve worked in the crafts all my life and it’s amazing to see how versatile he is. We all know that he can make babies but is there anything in the crafts that he can’t do? Stay thirsty my friends.
... resourceful pair, aintcha ?... i'm especially impressed with your evaluation abilities & ready to adapt when necessary... & i think you both risk eye problems keeping 1 eye focused on the kids ; ). Please stay safe & healthy, & i'll see ya down the road.
Dude your wife is fantastic!!! Love her sense of HUMOR!!!
You are guys are not building a home, You are building a dream. Wish you all the best.
I hope you two are getting a lot of young viewers because the both of you are setting a great example of what can be accomplished by working together. Can't say it enough. You two are awesome!
You guys should have more subscribers. At least a million.. A lot of couples need to learn this.
I go out on a limb and predict they will get a million!
Josh you are a man of many talents and Erin you are one of the best helpers ever. You two are going to go far in this life.
...even when she's sick that girl WORKS her butt off....y'all make a GREAT team...not just your construction endeavors... but you'alls family and farm/homestead as well... BRAVO as usual..☮️&❤️... anticipating watching the next project/adventure...!
You know it's a hard working family when you see even the cat having a go at operating that excavator :)) Good job guys !

Build is looking great. Erin, hope you feel better soon. Love the Little Debbies T-shirt....too bad Josh's mom couldn't have gotten it in orange.
Great job on the pad. First time I've seen radiant heat in a well house. That's a good idea for water to stay heated in winter!

Dang, and then it’s over. Wish your videos were about 10-15 minutes longer, lol.
Looking good! ❤️
