Interesting and informative interview! We appreciate seeing all the variations and learning about these animals. A couple of years ago at the shell show we showed Harlan a cone we had recently collected. He said in his opinion it is an alphabet cone "with a tendency to band" - aka golden banded alphabet. It was great to have him confirm our unique Sanibel treasure. Alphabet cones are one shell we seek out every week... you can never have too many!
One lady I watch found a really special alphabet cone. She didn’t even know if was an alphabet when she found it, but the blotches had all grown together and had become rings around the shell instead of blotches. And they were dark rings too. It was really special
It’s so frustrating when he is showing the uniqueness of the cone but we are not seeing any close up because the camera is not doing the close up. It would have been a very wonderful experience to do both. Hear about them and see the specimens.
Thanks for the feedback. We’ve started zooming in even closer for folks in the recent episodes since a few people made that comment that it wasn’t close enough. Thanks for watching!
Omg is that you Sarah?? I went in one of your boat tours, it was so fun!!!
☺️👍❤️
Great video 😁👍
Thanks for watching!
I wish the camera man would have zoomed in on the shells when he was describing/showing them
👍

It's hard to see the varieties. Wish they would've done some close ups. But overall informative
