It's been 7 months have any of them failed or had any issue? The price dropped to $45 and I picked up two of these and have really been digging them, you actually get a bit more control if you use DMX as you can shift in 16bit vs 8bit so you get way finer control then 1% increments.
No issues! I have actually started using them as house lights as well in the studio, and I was expecting them to burn out. They haven't. In fact they have outlasted my LED bulbs!
