- IT'S FINALLY TIME!!! The long awaited reveal of this awesome jon boat to bass boat conversion is here. This conversion turned out great filled with the latest and greatest in Led Lighting, Framing and Turfing. This is an all aluminum build so NO wood was used at all. what are the dimensions of the hatches? im doing something very similar to this build but i am wondering the hatch size.
Do you feel like you need the foot pedal? I have a similar set up and unsure if I wan't to upgrade to the food pedal trolling motor.
I'm not sure since this is not my boat. If this was my boat I would have put a foot controlled trolling motor in since I fish for bass mostly.

Outstanding!!! I’m curious how many man hours you put into the build? I’m getting ready to redo mine. I have to strip the old turf, sand, paint, etc before I doll her back up.
This boat took around 150 hours.
