Another channel I watch, uses only red DAS clay, for a city that he's building. But instead of water or baby oil, he uses PVA glue to help make the clay more malleable and to make sure it doesn't crack. I thought to mention this because the gentleman got cracked between his eyes! IDK if it would work with polymer clay, since it gets baked instead of air dry? Also have you considered fitting your heads on saucers or little desert plates instead of attached straight to the wall? It would give the impression of having a picture frame😊! These all are Fabulous Works of Art❤!!! Bravo 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Ah ha. Interesting. I know why it cracked - the eyes were too tight and when I pushed them in it cracked. Sculpey does shrink slightly when it's baked. I've learnt my lesson! Re the saucers - good idea. I'm going to build a Wall of the Weird and am thinking about how I'll hang them. I was thinking of making curly Baroquish gold frames and maybe names below as well........
Bless you for achieving this in Super Sculpey! I have 8 lbs of this mess that is just far too soft for me to work with. You're inspiring me to try more with it other than cursing at it. Your work is tremendous.
I snipped those supports off near the end of the project - for adding the hook at the back please refer to my previous post with the 'lovely lady'. It's 8 minutes in. I tried to keep the video reasonably short and cut some of those details - I'm learning as I go so thanks for pointing this out. Will try and incorporate the 'must knows' in each post. Many thanks for watching.

This face looks like something J.G. Quintel would draw. It's also exactly the expression I make when I say 'touché.'

I'm glad my post has inspired you to keep on going! It's always a bit of a challenge but worth it when it turns out OK in the end.🤗
I love watching your process! How did you end up hanging it?
In my previous post of the Lovely Lady I show how to make a hook for the back at about 8 minutes in. Nice to hear you enjoyed following the process.
Well done!
Thanks!

Thankyou so much
Very nice

What happened with the initial support armature? Did you just cut that or did you somehow fashion that into the hanger to hang it on the wall?
