Literally preaching the right angle is , according modern standards, usually avoided as it takes stacking over the lower leg out of the "stance" and can put full pressure on the knee joint and encourages dragging the rear ski around.
This was great to see. Helpful to think about giving tips to friends who are learning. It would love to see some advanced technique videos to help me improve my form.
Right on Adam - thanks for the feedback. Shoot me a couple things you are wanting to work on and I'll build some vids out. Finally getting on snow and feels good to be able to do some actual skiing. Hope you're well. - Madsen
Helpful video. "Feels" and adjustments the key to getting student (and self) feedback. Isn't it all about the feel that makes it fun?
Love the vid. It's like watching myself. Strong alpine background and learning to telemark. Keep helping out us beginners!
Glad you dug it. It takes a while to get the hang of it. - Madsen
Thanks for all the recent posts. Great info. Looking forward to my third season dropping knees in the Northeast. Peace
Stoked for you! Hope you get some good turns in. - Madsen
Great breakdown, well done! Would love to see the same thing with intermediate and advanced; there’s always room for improvement at any level 😊
I hear you! - Madsen

You should edit a video maybe side by side of the correct turn, but i love it! I’m watching a bunch so my learning curve smaller
Yeah, that's a pretty good idea. - Madsen

Anything for the steeps. Body positioning etc. Some tips of skiing the trees would be nice as well. Thanks!@@FreeheelLife
