100% agree. Our Aussie version has been ruined by the voice over lady doing far too much talking. Why do they need to have her set up the storylines in the programmes they're watching? That's what the Goggleboxers are supposed to be there for. Or having her set up jokes for the Goggleboxers to throw in a word or two to finish the joke. The show is called Gogglebox. I want to hear the Goggleboxers talk about the show and put in the jokes. It's not called Voice over lady reviews television programmes and gives us scripted jokes and punchlines. Plus the constant repeating of having to watch MAFS in every bloody episode. Or The Block and other so-called popular shows. MAFS is always about which couple has been cheating, which couple is arguing, and the same old Goggleboxers from the last 10 years saying the same old things about the same old boring shows, getting excited over people fighting, arguing and cheating. It's pretty sad, really.
Yeah, I was sad to hear about the passing of Mummy Pat also. 😢💔 I think her and Stephen were the best together. Nothing personal against Chris (his ex and old friend) and Daniel (his husband). I just think Stephen and his mum had a better chemistry between them, their jokes bounced off each other better, obviously because they were so close as mother and son.
Gogglebox is an interesting one for me. I loved it so much and watched it every Friday night. But I haven't watched it in years now. I think if I watched it now, I'd miss many of the old original families. Plus I just don't watch TV anymore, so can't relate to anything their watching
You don't necessarily have to watch the same shows they do, to be able to "relate". I'm in Australia and don't always get to see what they've watched or only get to watch it many months later. But it also helps me to find other new things that I might be interested in watching, as the bits I see on there look good. I just like their reactions to the programmes, most of all, whether I've seen it as well or not. I also miss some that are no longer on the show anymore. But thankfully, most of the current crop of Goggleboxers are funny in their own ways as well. So it's not all that bad.

Plus I just like TH-cam more. I know you can fast forward if recorded etc. But anyway, I will try check it out, maybe 1 ep from recently. If I like it I might get hooked again. The characters really made this show. Such a big hit when it began!
@@Greenpoloboy3 I'd love to go to the UK. I've always enjoyed British tv programmes and British humour and comedians. But it's only been the last 10 years or so that I've been really interested in perhaps travelling to the UK one day and travel around a bit, check out all 4 countries and also Ireland. Thankfully, watching Gogglebox so much I think will help me a little bit with some accents, particularly northern English. ☺

Giles and Mary are well past their Gogglebox Best Before date. They should have been off the show long ago. Best family are the Siddiquis. They always make me laugh.

Can't believe he's a father, stupidly jumping over the furniture.And annoying Sophie. What does she find so funny?. She laughs at nothing, I switch to mute when they come on,they spoil the show.
