Connor is a highly intellectual young man. You can tell that he has actually experimented with cookbooks and stuff on top of all these other challenging hobbies he’s into like chess and learning French.

@Russel Mohan I'd have underscored her too because she was rude. A dinner party is an experience that's about hospitality, conversation and fun as much as it is about the food. No one enjoys being in someone's house if they're made to feel they've only been invited so the hostess can demonstrate how superior to them she is.
It's also really bad hosting etiquette to assume that everyone likes their food as spicy as you do. I love a hot curry but when I'm serving guests whose preferences are unknown, I tend to back right off on the heat for the food and serve it with hot sambals and hot pickles on the side. That way those who do like heat can add it and those who don't can still enjoy their meal.

Exactly. I can't stand those ppl that act like they know it all but don't know that they don't know it all.
Or that they think everything is not fun, or not funny, or they are bored etc. But make zero effort to make it the fun that they think/talk about. Are her standards that she is the one that should be entertained at every party or else she is bored? Boring people get bored.

In India, we say " your guests are like your gods" so it's strange to see this lady act so ungrateful. I love this show on the fact that we get to see strangers enjoying new food and company and it's so sad that some people decide to act rudely

Connor, Gary & Carina were absolutely fabulous. This is about the forth time I've watched it. Dave Lamb though steals the show every time.
Connor is so lovely guy, so polite and is always so thankful with all the food and so young.

Apart from cam, she was a typical Indian. She really rubbed me the wrong way, trying go act big through the entire show. Her self importance and narcissism really grated on me, especially when she said that men who don't like spice aren't real men. Some people just don't like spicy food, why make them feel bad about it? She needs to understand thst there is no caste system here and that your race doesn't make you superior
But then why did you make it about race? She's stuck up and everything, but that is nothing to do with her ethnicity. @JEUndisputed

@Pat Morac - The breakfast was the appetizer, not the entrée. The lamb was the entrée. But I agree, his appy was strange and the rest was not executed or as polished as it should have been, as the kid said.
@@OMGWTFLOLSMH That may be the case in the US but everywhere else in the world, the entrée is the first course. That's from the French for "Entrance" ie: the beginning of the meal. The second course is the main course. Mains because it is a larger portion than either the entrée or the dessert and hence is the main part of the dining experience.

I live in Canada, and have to say I just LOVE British tv! who knows, maybe that is a bit because my grandparents that I never knew, came from England, straight to British Columbia BC. and even if that has nothing to do with it..... I still LOVE British tv the best!!!.

I think Gary pulled out all the stops to create a special dining experience for his guests and Cam was a tad rude and negatively influenced his evening.

I don't think Kam should've taught her how to wear a sari. Karina's a big girl. I was surprised she didn't prepare any raitha for the white people who can't handle g̶o̶o̶d̶ spicy food.
Connor was adorable and very talented. I think Gordon Ramsay better scout him out. Cam was an absolute nightmare. She couldn’t be bothered to care about anyone else’s night but her own. She was rude, snobby, and blatantly disrespectful. “I only eat free range eggs” and “I don’t eat beef” THEN WHY ARE YOU ON A DINING SHOW?!! She was too much.
I agree, she was a total snob and her self importance really grated on me, she needs to learn that there's no caste system here and being Indian doesn't automatically make you superior to everyone else. Love Dave Lamb, his humour kills me everytime. Great group i would love to have joined them.
I really love the British cdwm. David Lamb is the best side dish of every episode. He's chilled and spicy at the same time. Cooked to perfection.
I also liked all the contestants, no exceptions. There is this pattern I see often.
Corina went crazy with her food, but it didn't turn out very well. I'd love to try her meat cupcakes, but I wouldn't let her get any chocolate even near my main dish. Her food was very confusing, hence not a winner. She seemed to be very sweet though, and I really loved her effort, when she arrived at Cam's in an Indian attire. All in all she was very honest, but pleasant in her opinions.
Connor was well prepared, but safe with his food. He left his guests feeling nice and full. That is usually a winner dinner.
Cam's menu sounded great and I'd love to try it. Her only vice was, in my opinion, that she was outspoken in people's face about their food. I'm sure it makes people feel better, if everyone's laughing at their jokes, but it's not a crime either if someone isn't. I do feel, however, that some of her comments were unnecessary. It's a contest. Sometimes it's just better to keep it down, and enjoy the show. She could have won, if she wasn't herself so much.
As far as Gary's evening is concerned, although I think the meat looked perfect, everyone noticed that what was lacking in food, the host tried to make up in everything else, the boat ride, music, etc. Unfortunately, it is a food competition, and if it's not to everyone's liking, it will show.

@@djonedeckgaryboys Really? Chicken molé is a very traditional (and delicious) Native Mexican dish. Perhaps we're more familiar with it in the States because of proximity? She should have taken a note from that and used completely unsweeted Mexican chocolate and cut out the honey. Conner was great, weird and funny teen. Lol wish cam was a lot more open minded. I like how she plated her food, its hard to do it for indian food. Im indian, and i have learned a lot of my American friends don't like curry haha. I'm not surprised Cam isn't the most accommodating lady. But she did let loose after her dinner night.
