I went to the Schiit Shack in Newhall yesterday. Lucky was a very cool dude who was more than helpful. I bought a Loki to go along with the Modi 3 I already had and I must say I'm loving the ability to tweak some of my music to my liking.
I added a Schiit Loki and a Modi 3 at the same time to my early 1990’s mid fi av system. It’s like thinking you have a clean car and the you discover a car wash. Everything is better, everything.
@@caolanmaher5907 I love it! I bought a second Mani to go with my Technics SL-Q2. I route both Manis through my Schiit SYS. I like the SYS so I can control my recording level with Adobe Audition. Since I bought both Manis and the SYS I later bought the Modi and Magni combo to match with my new Sennheiser HD 300 Pro headphones. You can't go wrong with any Shiit if you don't have thousands to spend like me to enjoy listening to music as much as me!
I love these guys and their products! I have the Freya+ and Vidar at home, and the Modi 3, Loki, and Vali 2 at work. My only question is when will they make a tube amp to match it all up?
i know the schiit puns get a bit tiresome, but i gotta say...i absolutely love this schiit. their 99 dollar DAC sounds incredible. i've not heard anything else less than a few grand that sounds as good. the products are built very well, do exactly what they are advertised to do...and sound fantastic. it truly is a golden age of incredible audio.
It would be nice if your videos avoided the tiresome talking heads discussion and focused more on the products themselves. Unless you are talking to models and cover girls, keeping the camera on male faces do not compel me to watch your videos, although I enjoy hearing what you have to say.
Love it, Schiit is really shaking things up in the new era of lunacy that is the High End.

I have the Schiit Mani and the SYS. Love them both! I use the Mani for my Rega Planar 2 turntable and the SYS as a switch for both of my turntables.
How's the sound with the Mani and the planar 2?

I wish Schiit would make an affordable, small hybrid tube/SS integrated amp (kind of like the Qinpu 6000 MKII) in the $200 to $400 range.
