I first watched this documentary a few years ago and was captivated by the toe, the town, and this story. It's lived in my head for years and this past spring I finally made it up to Dawson and joined the sourtoe cocktail club. It is definitely a very special town, the locals are so nice. I can't wait to do this again when the toe turns 75

It was about a year ago now that I took the sourtoe cocktail shot and I accidentally took the toe into my mouth. Terry did not look happy.

Hey CBC, I think you might want to check the veracity of this Josh guy's claim that "he didn't know someone was filming it." Pretty sure the camera guys were a) asked by Josh to be there and b) professionals (who does Si Wagen work for when he's in Dawson City?). And wow, what a lame poem.

My only comment to this is that I hope when your toes are given to the bar they use them in a witty fashion. Perhaps have a 500$ cocktail? Your toes would do a great deal of good in your name. I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just think there's an opportunity to help out the community of Dawson perhaps thanks to your toes? Perhaps call it the Rest-toe-tution cocktail?

How many toes do they have? Seems like nobody was that upset at that moment. Lots of cheering from that bar crowd. Not only that, claiming that Josh guy is guilty of desecrating a corpse, is a bit of the pot calling the kettle black.
Shame that Terry treats him like he murdered one of his family members. That’s just taking too much pride in your job.
I honestly think this is kinda sweet. Well, has the potential to be. Fair play to Captain Terry for such an emotional connection I mean damn I would too if I had been doing it that long, but I see genuine remorse in this guy. Your decision but I say let him back in. I'm gonna will my 2 toes to the place anyway, if the tradition is still going then. Hope ya don't mind a bit of Brit flavor 😂
