Great video Ant, looks like the rock slabs at the top of the black runs have been smoothed out, shame that as it was a great section, looked like you had a good day though 👍🏻
@@HallMarc_Trails thanks mate! Yeah I believe some of it has been sanitised unfortunately, didn’t stop us from having a good day but did mean a lot of motorway sections with jumps (which I’m not very good at!) I will still come back at some point but think BPW will be my next one! 👍
Nice video Ant! You rode really well mate. Personally not somewhere I'm gonna rush back too as I think it's been sanitised to death but I do have great memories of the old Stiniog 🤟
Thanks mate! I really enjoyed the more technical rocky sections but there wasn’t a lot to go at so that makes sense! Just felt like a lot of motorway and jumps! Next one on the list is BPW! 👍
Blackn powder really is a confidence builder. As is the whole place. When a load of us visited the other year i was having a little trepidation as im not a jumper and my bike is short travel. But after the first couple of runs you realise nothing there is too crazy (though i didn't do the rock roll or the other black). Id say irs a okace id vidit maybe once a year.....a bit like Alton towers and i mean the theme park. 👍
Totally agree with the above mate its not a place I would go every week but did have a fun day with the lads! Going to do try and work on some jumping I think as its often gets ignored in favour of more natural stuff! 👍
Great video mate. We went to Antur a couple of years ago and it was fun; not the most challenging of places but enjoyed it. It does look like they have tamed some of the bits now (but not all) although that could just be maintenance; still looks like it has it's challenging sections in places though. I do wonder whether they've tamed it so that it appeals to a different audience than Dyfi? I'd go again regardless, we had a blast there 👍
Thanks Jason! A few people have said they have sanitised some of the trails which is a shame as the bits I enjoyed the most were the rocky sections (Presumably the bits I rode were parts they had left in tact) I would also be up for a return visit to be honest at some point as we had a good laugh regardless. I do wish I could jump better though!

Great day acts a great weekend mate . My footage again is playing up so it’ll probably be ready in 6months haha 😜
Thanks mate was awesome! So annoying when the GoPro messes up! 🙄 Hopefully get it sorted and an edit done 👍
Wasnt a bad day tbh some fast techy stuff there. Shame about my front brake issue sending me off track..glad I got it sorted sort of!
Yeah it was a great day mate! I liked the rocky stuff but felt like there deffo could have been more of it! 👍
