Hey, you are 100% correct there!! That’s definitely what I do when I looks like the lip is steeper than I’m used to, then I hit it after break checking and I’m like.. why did I do that!! We are back to Dyfi in a few weeks for a two day session so I’m hoping I can keep away from those brakes this time! Thanks for watching bud 👍👍
Good question, and one that I have spoken about a bit in my latest video. I was a bit anxious as to whether I’d be good enough to enjoy it before arriving. However, it’s all very rideable and very enjoyable, even if you’re not clearing all the features. I’d say my actions say it all… I made the 5 hour trip again two weeks later and can’t wait to go again! Are you thinking of giving it a go?
@Ordinary-Dad-MTB it's definitely my next new bike park destination. Like you say, I'm worried I won't be good enough because while I'm quicker than average, I don't have a fantastic array of skills to rely upon. I'm going to check out that video now 👌 You can see on my channel the standard of my riding if you wish
@@BlackFlag94your riding looks good buddy. You’ll be fine at Dyfi. Just take it steady at first and you’ll be flying by the end of the day. Turns in the Ferns is worth a look on your first visit too. Have a good one 👍
Calling yourself ordinary dad 😮 that was awesome dude ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks buddy! Always learning but much appreciated 👍👍🤘
looks epic mate!! hope to see you up the woods soon
Cheers Tim, we’re doing another trip with a few of the lads in a couple of weeks. Send me a msg if you fancy it mate 👍
@@Ordinary-Dad-MTB will do mate - BPW on the 11th if you are keen?

your better than an ordinary dad bro
Thank you! although I think the bike has to take a fair bit of the credit! 😂👍
Is there a budgie following you or are you breaking to much? Less braking= more grip 👍🏻
Yeah you’re right, it’s steeper than it looks though and I’m not talented enough to go much faster yet! 🤣
"Can you survive" is one question.... but "can you enjoy Dyfi" is the question I'd like answered.... Any thoughts?

🤣 haha, Thanks man. As a fairly ordinary dad, I had to get something that I can keep up with my lad on! 😅🤘
