Nice to see you on the move. I asked you about question a while ago about the rear overhang on long motorhomes. You replied politely and very quickly. Thank you for this. I see from one of your posts that you are tired of criticism in the comments. I understand this but please note there are lots and lots of positive comments too. Your videos are instructional and interesting and you seem like a very nice couple. If you decide to give youtube a miss you would be missed by many. Wishing you happy and safe travels whatever you decide.
That is some huge motorhome excursion your on. You deserve a medal or certificate for must be one of the longest tour's on Utube. Well done you people and woof.
So happy you're away again sharing your travels. Highlight of my day when you send a new video. Stay safe and well please and enjoy. Thanks again guys!!
Thanks for this video Bob and Jenny, it seems uncanny you reviewed this site just now as we are due to pick up our new Burstner campervan from a dealership just down the road in a few weeks. I recognised the road as you went past the farm shop🙂. It has been a very, very long process selecting the van and waiting for delivery. I think we get a nights complimentary stay there if we would like it, which we will.Your videos have had quite an influence and been an education especially during these stressful COVID times. While we wait for the DVLA to register the vehicle I have just had a hip replacement so hopefully it will all come together soon ‘happy days’. I hope you are well rested after your drive today and have a fabulous tour in Dorset. Many hanks once again
Love your videos and find them inspirational. Have just booked Trewethett following watching your video, for October. Was wondering how many different sites you have currently visited 🙂
If you look at our Arriving At playlist, there's 173 sites but many of them we have arrived at more than once. Guess around 120 sites that we've filmed, many more before we were filming.
Thank you Bob & Jenny for your informative videos. Found you during lockdown and watch your films regularly. Please can you continue to cover disabled facilities about the sites you visit and any other details. Many thanks. S
Surprised at the length of grass in some places their Bob, with all the time there has been in lockdown really no excuses for sites not to be Spick n Span. At least weather is looking pretty good this is gonna be a fab tour. See you both on the next vlog Bob.
When you are at corfe I would highly recommend visiting Tyneham village which is about ten minutes drive from the site. It's a ghost village abandoned as a result of ww2 when the military took it over.
Thanks for another great video. Chapel Lane is fully open all year and you normally find us there on Christmas Day. The scruffy pitches are actually part of the storeage area. Chapel Lane has been a 'safe haven' site over the lockdown and some people have been 'living' there for months now.
Last time I was at the NEC I stayed there. The warden said to me that he loved my channel, but couldn't remember the name of it. I always thought it was quite tell named :-) We were on a really narrow pitch at Hertford, had trouble fitting the awning on the pitch..
This is an area we've toured a few times in the car, usually when we've gone down to Southampton for the boat show. We stay in a lovely B&B in Lymington. However, now we've got a campervan we are looking forward to your tour as we are planning to go down and stay in some of the sites you'll be staying in.
One of our NEC sites (Chapel Lane) we’d like to try if we can’t get on the NEC for camping. Would like to say hi while you’re down this way, we’ve stayed at Charmouth and it’s nice. Not been to Crossways but it looks nice.. we’ve driven to Corfe site, that was interesting and wouldn’t like to take our caravan there....let us know what you think. Andy and Kim.
hi bob & jenny i love to watch your journeys its a great insight to the views as you travel along lol ..over the last few days we have been drawn to the elddis accordo 125 as it has a fixed rear double bed ..its only 6mtrs as well ..we could go upto 7 mtrs but restricted to width of a max of 2.4 mtrs due to gates on our drive ...but this 6mtr van looks quite good for the two of us and of course its all down to budget ..but unfortunately its not going to be until at least 5 years time once house is paid for ..then we can retire hopefully and get our dream van ...and do you know of anyone who takes there cats with them ?
Hi Bob and Jenny You mentioned that you had a problem with your van’s steering knuckles. Is this a Fiat recall or have you had a problem that was diagnosed as this? Please let us know as we have a similar van and I like to keep on top of any issues. Thanks F&J
Thanks Bob. Our Ducato cab was made at the end of 2018 so it looks like we’re fine. I’ll put the VIN number in to the checker later and also take a look at the steering knuckles myself, just to make sure. Thanks once again.
Yes, best not to let these things annoy. Happens all the time when I'm in the Motorhome. Car drivers risk everything to get past, undertaking, wrong lane, etc.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo you have the right attitude that's for sure 😃 just let the idiots go! Collected my first motprhome last weekend after following your videos for a long while, it's an amazing feeling they give you! Your introductory videos were incredibly helpful! God bless you, Jenny and Poppy of course!

Thank you. I don't mind criticism, if it's polite. Usually it isn't and gets my back up.

Thanks, that sounds interesting, might have heard about that from one of Tony Robinson's walk.

Been waiting for this 🙌

Yes a lot of CCC sites suffer from narrow pitch syndrome. This seems to be an exception.

Hi Bob. My barber watches you guys. He says you ought to have a No2 back and sides and a No4 on top.
It would be a good look.
Maybe, but I'm used to my hair...

I have seen people who take their cats with them, notably TH-camrs @The Indie Projects
@@BobEarnshawMoHo thanks for that bob .
Hi Bob and Jenny do you have to have a c1 licence to tow the car with the motorhome enjoy your trip.
Have a look at my video th-cam.com/video/VYG2rY6HegQ/w-d-xo.html
Bus stops about 350m from the charmouth site. Just in case! 🚌. Enjoy the tour.
I enjoyed packwood house last time we were there
To fold a pop up tent you turn it down and into a finger 8 sape then put it in the bag and sip it up before it opens up again
Yes zip it up before in unfolds and whacks you in the face!
Hi Bob and Jenny
You mentioned that you had a problem with your van’s steering knuckles. Is this a Fiat recall or have you had a problem that was diagnosed as this?
Please let us know as we have a similar van and I like to keep on top of any issues. Thanks F&J
You should have got a recall notice from DVSA if you are affected. car-recalls.co.uk/recall/fiat-ducato-2019-2020-non-conforming-steering-knuckles/
Thanks Bob.
Our Ducato cab was made at the end of 2018 so it looks like we’re fine. I’ll put the VIN number in to the checker later and also take a look at the steering knuckles myself, just to make sure.
Thanks once again.
live 4 miles from there Bob £750 a year to store a van there lol
😊👍
I’ve stayed there, quite handy for the NEC exhibitions.
I like the sun spot as you look like you have a ruff around your neck!
*Sorry*
*I have no one in this life, I have a small dog, I am recording my moment on youtube who is alive, you have your passing*
That white car 🤬 4:18

Be careful you are not prosecuted for using a camera while driving.
It's a fixed camera, like a dashcam, but a GoPro Hero 7.
