@@719LifeStyle I've only been at it about three years and found that in the Arkansas river it's easier to get the right flow on that sluice without the flare. I get a rooster tail on the first riffle in most places with it. Yours looked to be flowing good. I'm out of Salida but am currently in the westcliff area.
@@719LifeStyle that would be cool. I did sub when I saw you were in swissvale area. There's a public mining area not far from there. You go in by way of Wellsville. There's a few claims in the area also. I have another spot closer to Salida with lots of bedrock and gold everywhere just about.

You should always wet your material before sluicing. Keeps the flakes from floating out. That's the same sluice I have.
