      What are you talking about? Are you saying that you can't be a software developer with no experience? hahaha But yeah, this was mostly just a list of jobs that exist. The 'no experience' thing is ridiculous. Even with the 'customer rep' job which is the most "no experience" job on the list you'd be hard pushed to find a paying job that doesn't ask for at least 3 or 4 years experience. I mean, I know that they put that in the ad with high expectations but probably won't always get the 'perfect candidate' but still. And transcription is a nightmare unless you have AI do it for you.

    I recently got a remote job with a university as a qualitative coder where I tag transcriptions of oral histories with various themes using a qualitative data analysis software, and then all that information goes towards creating a database. It’s different from the type of coding I’m used to (web development, programming), but it’s completely applicable to the stuff I’m interested in doing professionally, which is data analysis, database development/administration, and data engineering.

But after training, they started pretending we r busy with other students and keep practicing for interview questions. It's been 3 months since I've finished my training, and I didn't get a job. I tried from my side, too, with my 5 years of customer service experience. But I tell you guys, without experience, there is no chance 😮 to get a QA job.

    If a company REQUIRES you to wear a uniform they need to supply it for you.
    If a company REQUIRES you to go do a drug test they need to pay for it.
    If a company REQUIRES you to drive into work they're not required to pay you for the gas, insurance, or time spend commuting.

      @@shadowshatto I remember friends of mine who worked at fast food they had to buy their uniform, but never heard of anyone above min wage having to buy one. Also never heard of anyone paying for their own drug test, especially if its a random. In trucking we have to get medical cards which do require a drug test and sometimes we buy those ourselves.....but most of the time companies pay for them. Me personally I buy it myself because I don't like my employers having a sense of ownership over me. I believe everyone should act as their own free agent and employers who don't understand this are just trying to exploit you.

    The stories you hear for stuff like data analyst not needing college are all outdated stories. Its very hard for most of these jobs to get anything if you didn't go to college. Same thing happened when I was looking at salesforce jobs, plenty of stories about not needing college but if you just look at the job posts of today, many want college + certs + 2 years experience. And that's for a job where college is completely irrelevant to the job.

      The truth is that a 4 year college degree can't keep up with the growth rate and pace of tech. I hear what you're saying but there are a lot of nuances. For example there's a lot of value in working your way up from an IT help desk position with a HS Diploma. You can work your way up to becoming a cybersecurity professional earning 6 figures. You'll be seen as an individual that grew up on tech.

    • @Zero11_ss

      @@adeona5202 that kind of progression would be logical but for most people its simply impossible. The college degree gatekeepers are everywhere. It's the best thing to do!!! I worked for a cc in finance department and the amount of money you save for the SAME EXACT classes cost 1/3 or more f a credit at a 4 yr university. Also at where I was they had agreements with universities and specialty university that accept 100% of transfer credits and some even let u earn bachelor's from the U @ the cc.

    • @minadawood1425

      I went to a CC first and I saved a lot of money, but I also made a lot less connections. Honestly, who you know is more important that what you know in pretty much any field. Also if you are in college for anything besides medicine, engineering, or accounting, just drop out. Unless you have connections to get a job, you are going to waste your time and money on a worthless degree. If you are lucky you will find a job for like $18 an hour which just isn’t a livable wage anymore. These jobs require minimum 2-3 years experience, so better hope you already had a job or really good internship while in school. Sorry this is just the reality. I graduated in 2021 and it’s rough out here.

    • @razoraz
      @razoraz ปีที่แล้ว

      Eh, not exactly. If you know the skills to do either of those things AND the ability to use/prompt AI bots, you can 10x your output. This means those people, especially those who are freelancers, can increase their output so much they become that much more valuable on the marketplace. I do both of the things you mention and explore AI every day and I'm tired of the negativity like this.

    • @Blahblahblah481
      @Blahblahblah481 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Chatgpt also requires human intervention and creativity. Web design can be automated but it will always look inaccurate from your request. Ai cannot replace jobs but it will create more jobs to those who know how to use it.

How are these a no experience needed when you need skills to get them like how am I supposed to have the skills if I’m not taught them/trained on them.
