Just like Manchester City for the first few windows of their takeover, they will most likely be buying a lot of bang average players from mid table clubs that they will overpay for just to get anyone of decent quality. Despite the recent takeover, they are still sitting in the relegation zone and that will be a major turn for most if not all World Class and fringe World Class players. You still need to rapidly move up the table to attract genuine quality players just like City had to.

Burnley don't want to sell him though as it gives us a far greater chance to stay up with him than without him. Also Brentford get 35-40% of any profits made on his sale so I doubt he will leave for anything under £20m. If they offer less, we'll just keep him for the 6 more months.
