That's the trouble with people who don't regularly watch us, they hear great Norwegian international and think we've lost something special. But we really haven't. You say so far for Burnley he plays like a dying pony, we've seen that for a while now. We were far more upset at losing Ndiaye. But at the same time he had a choice of staying and being in a relegation battle or going to his boyhood club to be involved in European football. Not exactly a difficult decision, can't blame him and wish him well. McAtee on loan vastly improves this window for us alone. Not convinced by Larouci yet. Trusty needs to play, seems like he'd make a good leader. Hamer and Souza are great signings. Traore just needs a bit more service and confidence. Archer did well last season, but he had far better service than we will ever give him so who knows. Would have loved Doyle as well, but he was used as part of a deal with Wolves so wasn't to be. As a Liverpool fan I’m quite happy with our transfer window. 4 quality midfield signings. Could’ve done with a new CB, but other than that, good window for us.
I think you also needed a defensive Midfielder. Your team is lob sided.Devastating in attack but woeful at the back

How are u gonna put city’s transfer lower than Liverpool when what city needed to do was get replacements and depth which they did, Liverpool have gotten 4 midfielders but not 1 is a quality cdm which they desperately needed, and also the lack of cb depth with them having loads of injuries to vvd and konate. The trouble is people see Berge's quality and think we've lost something amazing. Yes he is a great player when he wants to be. But he spends the majority of the time being a passenger. Doesn't go up for headers (despite being the biggest bloke on most pitches), rarely uses his strength, doesn't go in for tackles, and is too far laid back when you need a bit of urgency. That's the trouble with people who don't regularly watch us, they hear great Norwegian international and think we've lost something special. But we really haven't. You say so far for Burnley he plays like a dying pony, we've seen that for a while now. We were far more upset at losing Ndiaye. But at the same time he had a choice of staying and being in a relegation battle or going to his boyhood club to be involved in European football. Not exactly a difficult decision, can't blame him and wish him well.
McAtee on loan vastly improves this window for us alone. Not convinced by Larouci yet. Trusty needs to play, seems like he'd make a good leader. Hamer and Souza are great signings. Traore just needs a bit more service and confidence. Archer did well last season, but he had far better service than we will ever give him so who knows. Would have loved Doyle as well, but he was used as part of a deal with Wolves so wasn't to be. All in all I don't think it's been that bad a window. We've had a lot worse.
How is Chelsea 4th? They’ve spent over 500 million and only made a few good signings. Nkunku, Sanchez & Disasi, that’s it. Every other signing has been overpriced or unnecessary.
Why does he keep saying Mount will be good for us, he's an expensive Chelsea bench warmer who will not make any changes to United Midfield like Amrabat will. We should've went for one of Liverpool's midfield signings to replace Erikson or at least give us some depth

Hamer is a sizable upgrade over Berge, and we've brought in young players who we can sell on, now yes, by all means I think we've pretty much accepted relegation, but our transfer window is atleast better than Wolves and Luton, Wolves especially. Their team literally... just got ALOT worse... that's all, no silver-lining

Tottenham not being able to sell their deadwood downgraded their summer, they needed to sell to buy and the players just didnt want to leave. Likes of Lloris, Dier, Ndombele and Hojbjerg all rejected moves away to either sit on the bench or not even get registered for the team. Their buys were reasonably smart, but the sales just wouldnt happen.
Also according to reports, Spurs rejected Fati as Ange wanted Johnson more. Got to trust the process I guess.

We've solved all the problems we had, onana to replace de gea, mount and amrabat in midfield, reguilon and Evans at the back, hojlund at the front, every part of the squad has been improved, whereas a team like Liverpool who haven't fixed their defence in the slightest, city who sold some of their best players in gundogan and mahrez, chelsea who have overpaid and gambled on countless players, have apparently had better transfers? I like the Irish guy, but sometimes his rankings in things like this confuse me
