      The fish with blue circle near tail was a tang. Not sure what typebut theres a spike in the. Circle he can extend outward 90 degrees for protect tion . Its sharp!

    Chum the anchovies use sardine for bait, sardine stay on the hook better, make sure you buy the smaller size sardine, hook it on the nose so look like swimming.3 ' leader,20lb fluro carbon!!Hook the soft bait fish on the nose!Fun video!!🤣🤣😂😂😅😅

    The first fish you caught is called a grey chub in Hawaii we call it a Nenue and the fish Erin caught that had the strips is called a surgeon fish. Be careful of the tail because they have barbs that can cut you pretty badly and they also have a bacteria that makes it very painful.

      also that crap fish is a sea bream lol they always come up and take a dump lol they get pretty big, maybe try free lining a ballyhoo plug, it works well for yellow tails, cudas, mackrels etc! I've even been lucky enough to snag a mahi from channel 5 w that technique xD

    Chumming is the way to go when fishing is slow. A suggestion when you are using soft bait and plan to keep your fish: use tribal hooks.

    Real question.. is it me or do the sizes of the fish being cooked seem bigger than most of the fish shown being caught?
    I've seen two videos have to come across this channel and the first video was completely 20-something minutes of just using a sabiki rig.
    I've been fishing with my son recently in the keys about five times in the last 2 months and I've seen guys catching yellow Jack, Jack crevelle, etc., Off the channel 2 bridge. I seen @Chadgonefishing catching tons of big fish. Am I missing something?

    Dude, watch your hands on those surgeonfish. Those "markings" at their tail wrist actually mark a pair of sharp blades "as sharp as a surgeon's scalpel". They can cut you up pretty badly.

    Dude I literally did the exact same thing but with small live baits, my daughter hooked me a couple of baby croakers and I caught 2 trouts with it
