The sound that crosses all borders and nations. Moving and groveing till dawn and back. So many varation from around the world by various players famous and unknown that found a sound that can make people move.

It just occurred to me that the piano was invented by someone who couldn't possibly know that one day people would be able to do this with it. Musical progression through history is a wondrous story. Can you imagine what Chopin would have thought of this style; and if he could play it?
At the time, they had liszt. The closest would be the hungarian rhapsodys. Wicked good but different, without the driving rhythm. That being said, without those guys we might not have this!
Worse than that, if chopin and beethoven and the rest ahd this style you'd be looking at classical as ground breaking and boogie woogie as old stuff! let THAT sink in.
Classical Boogie with oboes and cellos? Or how about if it was played on the harpsichord? Wonder if anyone has attempted that. OMG, I just got an image of Lurch from the Addams family ticklin' those ivories.
that is the way my brain works. i have already commented that i would like to bring back Mozat, Chopin, and Beethoven ( with hearing) and let them listen to boogie woogie in it variations ( especially fast ) and see what they come up with IF anything
