Are spots just the majority fish there? We have spots where I’m at too, but it’s most common to catch largies. I’ve only caught a handful of spotted bass since I’ve started fishing again.
I think the little ones are just so mean they beat largemouth to the lure😂

I can almost smell the paper mill through the screen. 😂 We have one in my county too and the fishing up that way is fire too, just try to stay upwind.
Facts😂
A big spotted bass is 4 to 5 pounds. A decent one is 2 or 3 pounds. There was almost 6lbers caught in a recent B.A.S.S. elite tournament.

@@LoganAndersonFishing think the biggest spotted bass I've seen caught in Alabama was like 7lbs. That thing was a monster lol. Most the ones in a lake here are like what you generally catch in the Chattahoochee. Im not to far from that river being a couple counties over from the state line. Fished it a few times in my 20s.

@@LoganAndersonFishing where the spillway is is my fav spot I only bank fish but where there the rocks are big jerkbaits and square bills in prespawn but rn baby squarebills and tiny jigs massive spotted bass when the rivers high nobody says anything I’ve caught 2 over 4 on the Florida side

You’re my favorite TH-camr to watch and I want to know what is the best bait casting suggestion. I also want to know where I can find the Googan bait caster reels because I couldn’t find them on the Googan app.
Have to give the buzz a try again, had a terrible time with acuracy and wind moving it during casts and gave up lol
